Thanks for the comment, I was wondering about the open-world tag as well, but I usually go with what on the store page and give little thought about it. Edited the description.

I think calling it an open world game is a stretch; to me that invokes comparisons to things like GTA, Skyrim etc. and it's nothing like those. It does have a modest sized map, which you can explore freely (most of the time), but there's nothing like side missions to do. I'd still say the game is very story driven and linear.
It's very good, though. It's basically a walking simulator (or hiking simulator), like Gone Home, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter etc. The dialogue and voice acting are some of the best I've seen in a game.
This price is probably about right; I think the regular price is a bit steep. It took me about 3-3.5 hours to finish it, and replay value might be limited.
