Loads of you asking us where you can get fans cheaply and quickly as you are sweltering in this unusually hot British Summer so we have put a thread together all in one place for you. If one's not in stock for you - move on to the next one until you get one.
Top tip is to place a bowl of ice or frozen water bottle in front of the fan to make it blow out even cooler air for you.
If you don't want to have a fan in the kids room, I have been soaking a cloth with water and ringing it out and laying it over the top of my little boy and that seems to be really helping him sleep.
B&Q 16" 3 speed pedestal fan was £19 now £16 - if none in store next day click and collect is available HERE
Argos Simple Value 7" desk fan £9.99 - stock varies depending where you are but worth a look to see if in stock near you.

Is it the OP or people posting comments? :stuck_out_tongue:
Staples 9" superior desk fan was £11.99 now £8.99 -- the quality of this fan is really bad i bought it and i asked for a refund. The fan is flimsy and the hinge on the fan came bent so it wouldnt close the cage.

I bought the 20" brother to the 18" high velocity screwfix fan (admittedly from CPC instead). No regrets. It's noisy but by golly does it move air. Even makes a good substitute for using the dryer.
Eyeing up those usb desk fans with lust.
