I tried one of these a couple of months ago, but it didn't work out for me.
I have black tiles along with black & dark grey carpeting 20mm pile.
It couldn't cope with either of these well, often getting stuck for no apparent reason (though I assume the darkness of my flooring along with the thick pile of the carpet, as this is mentioned on the products website. I eventually went with the (much more expensive) Neato Connected, which surprisingly, copes with both the thick pile & black flooring.
The Neato also has a logic behind it. It skirts the outside of the room, then moves up and down to cover all the areas in between, then moves onto the next room. The Eufy just moved in random directions, though apparently, it does cover pretty much everywhere in the end.

Sceptical as demo a Dyson want which was hopeless at picking up easy dirt right in front of it

I have this and it's awesome and reliable. Love the auto docking feature. It can also step over things at height of 1.5cm and avoid falling down steps. There are also spare parts available at reasonable prices
