Looks gadgety. Hence I want one but not really sure why. What could I use this for?

I've just been pricing up cheap Chinese Gouroc knock-offs. This seems right up my street. Off to look for reviews...

Are these any good ? And can you use them without a SIM card ? Im not bothered about live straeming or uplaoding to the web.

Streaming does not work anyway. Firmware needs updating but these unlocked ones won't update.

So I can use it as a normal action camera with the watch out of the box ?

Yep. Although the resolution on the watch is pretty terrible.

Ordered for C+C, will pick it up Monday. GoPro hero is off the coast of Lanzarote somewhere, seems a decent replacement for half the price I paid for the Hero. Thanks OP

I'm off to lanzarote Tuesday, want me to have a look for it
Just received my order. Everything is reasonable but there is no mounting option included meaning i have to spend additional £20 to mount it!

Got mine eventually - paid for Sunday delivery but in their wisdom DPD decided to deliver on Monday instead. Had a very quick try last night, but proved difficult to pair up the watch, the instructions aren't comprehensive and the videos linked to on the EE website aren't actually there anymore. Paired with the phone eventually, but haven't managed to record anything. Will have another go tonight.

Is the app working where you can view the camera on your phone ?

Yeah, got it all working tonight, streaming the camera both to the phone and the watch (not both at the same time though) Refresh rate on the watch is about a frame per second, probably either battery, or Bluetooth bandwidth related.
