This happened to me also when I tried to get a sim only . I think it's their system. I didn't get it by in shop either then ok a couple months after. Only problem is there's only hours for this deal. Good luck.

...in your opinion.

In my opinion it has the best coverage where I am in - fast 4G service and hardly any no go zones, unlike the other main networks around here.

My bad!! Full (undiscounted) price shows only on mobile website. But if you see it on the PC, there is a discount voucher added at bottom to make it £5 a month. I have just ordered the SIM. Hopefully it will work as I am not on EE.

I'm a current sim-only customer but my contract runs out in 5 weeks. Wonder if I try and order this using a different email address they'll let me get it then port my own number over to it?

If you also have EE home broadband, when you speak to an advisor, they'll link your mobile number to the broadband account and add 10GB to your mobile data

hope there is no pricing error on their end. Unlimited mins text and 4gb for a fiver :wink: . I hope that discount code is for all 12 months of the contract and not just the 1st month alone. Can anyone confirm this?

Put through my order before expiry but realised it's for a new SIM and cannot be ported to my existing one. Phoned EE and we agreed to cancel the order. Instead they are giving me an extra GB per month for what I was paying before so I'm a happy bunny.
The moral of the story is always to check with EE at the end of your contract and they'll usually give you a better deal.

Thanks OP. I did call them up directly, and they just put through for me the 4gb, unlimited calls/text. I did have an existing pay as you go.

You could've always grabbed a free sim on another network, ported away, then ported back (I think... sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong) :smiley:

I was lucky enough to order.
Unfortunately I have now received an email that the order had some issue and will be cancelled.
Asked me to place the order again or call Customer Services.

I just spoke to them and its for pay as you go customers. however im pay monthly already and they said without showing proof of the 'text message', they can do it for £6.49 a month.

As a pay monthly customers for 10 years tried to get 4gb deal was totally blanked pack code on it's way.Same deal was 17.49 for loyal customers who's kidding who.

I just received an email from EE saying they "have performed a credit check and unfortunately cannot continue with the order right now". That is **** as I had already passed the credit check at applying stage. Clearly, EE is using this strategy to not give the £5 SIM offer to peeps.
