Why do they want my credit card details as well as my bank details?
jh787 to Zontes

They take 1 p for credit check

Credit/debit card details to pay upfront for your first month. Bank details are for monthly direct debit.
killabyte
8 Jun 17 #18
Pay monthly, it will be deducted from your bank account monthly

Yes, but they also wanted my credit card details. Hence my post. Could just be for a credit check.

Haven't been on a 12 month contract for ages. What normally happens after 12 months? Does it stay at £5 or do they bump you onto something else?

Ordered this earlier today at about 11am. Haven't had any e-mails since the initial confirmation e-mail so I rang EE about an hour ago to ask about the order. They said everything looks good from their end and my SIM will apparently be with me tomorrow!

I got a 'successful' order message. I'm not an existing EE customer and at checkout it shows at £24.99 at the top but when you go down to the bottom it shows the discount. Saved me a lot on Apple Music as well - make sure to add it on at checkout. Thanks for posting this!!

Normal line rental is £24.99 so I guess they will apply a discount of £19.99 every month. Just to be careful end of 12 months otherwise it would start to £24.99.

Worked for me, email confirmation 20.47PM

£60 will do me as back up sim can use in Canada, USA, Mexico, AU & NZ  will be in Canada and USA in Jan for a month

"12 months BT Sport app access
Use your data, calls and texts in the EU plus 5 extra destinations"

SWEEEET! That's cheaper than a USA or Canada prepaid sim for use in both countries for 30 days, plus backup sim in UK

Doubt they will cancel anyone. Just think how many extra customers they have suddenly got.

Companies spend £1000's on trying to attract new customers but people getting an offer they think they shouldn't get are the best.

They are greatfull, don't complain in fear of loosing it, make a snap decision that ties them up for 12 months.

EE/ BT will be loving this!!

But the only thing I want is what I have ordered, unless they offer more data for the same price which I doubt they will

Took out a mobile wi-fi plan last Thursday then went for this last night. Got an e-mail saying they need more information from me and asking me to call in. Have done so and she told me I'm eligible for this as an extra line, but I just need to go and pick up a PAYG SIM from a shop today so she can do a migration. She's calling me back later to do that, I will then just cancel my mobile wi-fi plan when it's all sorted (30 day rolling contract so can cancel any time) and stick this SIM in my wi-fi box.

Thanks OP, result! (Will post back at a later date with the full details of how it has all gone tits up X))

I ordered at 8.30 last night and apart from successful order email, no other emails/texts.
I just called 0800 079 0531. Spoke with a lovely lady.
She asked me if I have a payg number, and I said I have 2 but don't know the numbers. She said do you just want a new number/line, I said yes please.
She said if I wanted just the one line or more, I said just one please. She said a credit check will now be done.
She then said it's come back all fine. She just confirmed contact details and delivery address and also mentioned that someone thought that it would be funny to post this deal on HUKD's :p8):p:D.
She also said no new orders would be honoured apart from the ones which went through yesterday and who have an order number.
Thanks OP.

EE: From 15 June 2017 you will be able to use your plan’s inclusive UK allowances to: call/text UK mobiles and landlines starting 01, 02 and 03 when in UK or EU/EEA; to call/text EU/EEA mobiles & landlines when roaming in EU/EEA (outside UK); Jersey, Guernsey & Isle of Man treated as EU/EEA. Out of allowance calls to these numbers cost 50p/min. Data allowance can be used in UK & EU/EEA.

Just done this but signed up earlier today for a 30 day rolling with THREE same allowances but no tethering for £11pm. Not happy with THREE they made me work very hard to get the deal given so I will cancel within cooling off period as long as this goes through okay. Saves £72.00 over a year with added tethering, BT Sports and Music. Hopefully a better network too as 4g is non existent with THREE where I live. Be interesting to see what THREE will do when I go all the way to cancelling after 13 years no doubt they will try there best to stop me. Cheers OP.

Spoke with a second person this time, first person was a man (who refused - all are 12 months), second person was a lady who checked with a manager and would not do an email and refused that they were doing it. She ended up putting a note on the system.

I think its the wording they are using, she said its on the system as no expiry discount but she did say that in the terms and conditions this can be changed at any time (presumably after the 12 months). She ended up putting a note on the system to say she has told me this but as I say she wouldn't give a confirmation email and denied any knowledge of EE doing it.

I don't think I will be trying again.

9 Jun 17 #246
Well I'm all sorted. I rang up 0800 079 0531 and asked the order to be transferred to my payg SIM, that was done very quickly without any arguing on their behalf. I simply gave them the order number and the phone number of my payg SIM and they took it from there. The remaining credit on the SIM will be taken off future bills, and two people have confirmed that the discount will continue after 12 months (although one person said it won't continue beyond 12 months).

The MyEE dashboard is showing my contract as £24.99 but I have two add-ons for "£10 loyalty". I phoned again to double check and they confirmed that the add-ons are indeed a £20 discount which applies to the bill every month. The last guy I spoke to was gobsmacked that I managed to get such a good deal - he said that he couldn't get something as good as this as an employee. We chatted for a while after that, nice chap.

Just spoke to EE and the customer service saying that this is a new offer and they are getting a lot of phone calls about it but most of the time they will honour

When you go through the online procedure you has to add voucher.once the code is added you will see a final price of 5 pound per month once you get a confirmation number it's the confirmation number that shows EE what product you are purchasing.

I went and bought two pay-as-you-go EE SIM card topped up with£1 which got credited back to me. the operator told me that they need the mobile number which shows that you are an existing customer.

If it turns out to be £25 after a year, that's fine. I have no regrets moving to EE even if it's only for 1 year. When 12 months is up, we can haggle and threaten to leave if we lose the discount. There are always good offers!

I just went to the local Morrisons, picked up a £1 sim, and called up EE. Fella asked if I had used the SIM in the last 6 months, I said for receiving calls mainly and non charge numbers.

He then said I'd need to top up £5, I asked if that'll go towards my first bill in advanced, he said yes.

Just got off the Phone with EE and they say they have been dealing with this issue since 8AM. This offer is only for existing customers and was distribute to existing customers via an email which was uploaded online by someone. As soon as I mentioned a code he knew it was the reduction to £5 within a second.lol

just ring the number i posted before the 0800 number
say you've heard about the £5 deal down from 24.99 and you wanted to see if you could get it as well, the person may ask you if you already have a ee number, just say you do but not had time to top it up. they will take all your card details over the phone and top it up and then make it a pay monthly sim after a credit check. quite simple.

let me know how you get on.

If you do not agree with this decision about your credit status you can write to us at:

Alternatively, you can get a copy of your credit file directly from Equifax, at myequifax.co.uk.

You can still pick up a great value pay as you go deal from EE. Visit this link shop.ee.co.uk to take a look at the fantastic range of devices and plans on offer.

They just called me back and said I don't need to go and buy a PAYG SIM to migrate to now as they're honouring a lot of the orders. As such, they are just processing it and dispatching the SIM in the post to me today.

I suspect this is going to be one of those 'depends on who you get' scenarios as to your outcome. I must say though, based on today and an issue that arose last week when I took out my mobile wi-fi plan, their customer service is absolutely spot on. Last time I was with them, around the time of the T-Mobile/EE switch, it was atrocious foreign call centres but I'm massively impressed now.

EDIT: Also, there was absolutely no confirmation of this but she said she'd be very surprised if they take the discount off after 12 months as they don't usually do it. I'll keep my eye out in a year's time but will certainly keep this as a second line at this price!

So just got an email saying they need to verify my card and address so they can charge £2 and then refund it, and that I had to call them to sort it out. The order number in the email subject was also slightly different, ie ending in 14 instead of 54, don't know if this was a typo? Also not sure why I'd have to call them when they already had all my details.

Called the number in the email and reasonably polite lady answers, takes my actual order number, has a look, then puts me on hold for a while. Comes back and says that the original card didn't work (I'm sure it works) and that the £2 is for a credit check. Give her another credit card which she enters. Shortly after she says that I failed the credit check and that I won't be able to apply for another 3 months. My other order will be cancelled.

That just doesn't add up. Got a £450k remortgage recently with no problems at all so surely there's no way I'd fail a credit check for a mobile phone sim card? If they don't want to honour the deal then surely they can just send out cancellations instead of faffing around and wasting people's time with multiple phone calls. Really annoyed.

after receiving a call on Friday afternoon, and trying to call back late last night

I was told to call back this morning all be it with a EE PAYG number (I said I had one somewhere)
anyway just called spoke to a very helpful woman in Sunderland, all sorted

the only query this time was how much the order was for (£5) all processed
asked about how long discount lasts, she clearly said 12 months, then said just call back to see what deals are on etc

I was also one of the ones who got the previous never ending free (Tmobile/EE) sim offer thanks to the never ending code

just got the confirmation the order is on its way as i update this

Thanks OP/HUKD again

Because this deal was for upgraders (existing customers) there was never any intention for them to send a new sim, simply upgrade the one you already had with them ;-)

On the ios app
In the bottom right hand corner is
Messages. Clicked on that, brought up, "0 new messages" and below shows 3 messages to people that i have sent but received no reply.
But after 0 new messages on the right hand side its got the screw/nut icon clicked on that which brings up the
3 options of receive from people admins and push notifications those are all "green" its the ios version of being ticked!
Went onto safari and ticked all options there as well but no luck that i can see. Confused or what...

Sorry mate, tried finding that deal on here, but can't find it.
It was the deal for Tmobile sim only 250 mins, 500 texts and 500mb data for £0.00 per month instead of £8 per month, it was a glitch which was honoured.
I think it was in November 2013.

Have you asked them, I asked twice and the lady said it will definitely stay on. on my discounts page it doesn't show any expiry date like yours aswell

Did you check specifically in the app? I'm able to see the expiry in the app but not on the website.

I'll probably call again today to get some clarification. If they say it lasts beyond 12 months then I'll ask for an e-mail for proof.

Just got my two sorted after a call. We had two orders both placed early (9pm thursday). One had been processed but no confirmation had been sent out, the other had not and she put it through. We weren't asked about existing lines (which meant we wasted £1.98 on sim cards, but I think we'll be ok....!)

Wonder if they are nullifying any possible TCB/Quidco ?

thanks so much quacksta for sharing and many thanks to everyone else that encouraged and helped everyone else to benefit from this amazing deal!
I just spoke with a nice but nervous girl , she just apologized for the delay in my order, confirmed my details, then scoffed at the discounted price, she seemed shocked for a few seconds! Never asked for payg number!!! Said I will receive Sim by Wednesday! I asked if she could confirm contract length and if it would increase to higher price after 12 months, she said she could check with her supervisor but I said it didn't matter!! I thought I might of been pushing my luck!!! Then she said goodnight!!! I didn't know there was such a time difference in what sounded like a Newcastle accent!!
BTW does anyone know if you have to sign for Sim delivery from postie?

Summary of my experience ordering it:
- I ordered one Sim card Thursday late in the evening. Hotukdeals thread had already been expired but the voucher was accepted and my order was taken (order number received by email minutes later).
- Next day, I had two missed calls from EE which I decided to ignore because I knew it was to say there was an error and they'd have to cancel it.
- After reading some posts here from people saying it was only for EE customers, I decided to get a SimOnly pay as you go card from my local Tesco (paid £0.99). I registered it online but didn't top up or activated.
- I called the 0800 number this morning, explaining I'd like to transfer my new contract to the EE pay as you go I've got. I was told that there is a note on my order, my EE simcard was not activated and it need at least 3 months up running.
- Customer service was great. They asked for my order number, to confirm some details, my EE number, did a credit check and say they would send another simcard through the post. Confirmation received by email.
- I asked about the offer extending over the 12 months or if it would go up to £24.99. I was told the price will not change after 12 months apart from the increases in line with the inflation etc..

So far great service from EE.

Didn't go through on Friday. Then EE called this afternoon but still couldn't put it through as they said I need a pay as you go SIM from at least 6 months which has been topped up! (I already have a monthly EE sim)

However, then I tried the 0800 number - First the advisor said I need a reference code from the failed order.
However I asked if there is another way to check, and then she said she can try my address so we started with my postcode. And finally, order has gone through on £5 offer! Good result!

Good news, lads and lasses. I have it in writing that it will be £5 a month even after the initial 12 months!

I already had a monthly EE plan which was out of contract and I hadn't yet canceled. I bought this at 2am and immediately got a confirmation email. Didn't receive a dispatch email. Just got a text saying I'm now on a 4GEE Max plan. Logged onto my EE account and sure enough, my plan has been updated to this.

Should be noted that it will state £24.99 on the MyEE page but in the add-ons will be '£20.00 Loyalty'. I spoke to one of reps in the online chat and they confirmed that it will indeed be £5 a month.

Here's some of the transcript confirming £5 after the 12 months:

I told her i didn't have a current EE number and that i would be porting my number over from another network, no problem, just phone up with PAC code when i receive new sim and Bobs your uncle! Also stays at £5 after 12 months. Great customer service, got through after a few minutes waiting (0800 079 0531) unlike Plusnet who would have me on hold for 45 mins!

I filled out the online form, was sent an email asking for more information the next day. I phoned 0800 956 6042 (as listed in the email) and spoke to the chap, who hadn't heard of this deal, but had no problem putting it through for me.
For some reason he said it was £4.99/month not £5/month, and received the "order on its way" email about 10 minutes later.

The extra info they needed was I was sending the sim to my work address, not my billing address, and they can only send new lines to the billing address. Seems like something the web form should enforce!

Anyway, thanks OP.

However there is no mention oft he monthly payment. It says "your price plan cost and discount will be displayed on your first bill"

Is there any way to check that the £20 discount per month will be applied. Do people suggest buying a pre pay EE sim first or just using the new sim when it arrives?
Thanks

Tbh....its a tried and tested method, who knows what will happen by Monday? Tbh no risk involved atm is the way i see plenty of people have got as long as you got the xkn order number plain sailong after that as far as i can tell (afew factors all of which can be sorted). Just before calling. Most scenarios have been discussed in this thread! Good luck!

I ordered this sim offer a few hours after it was listed on here and have NOT called them up to find out what was happening.
At 11.30am today I got my confirmation email saying my new sim has now been posted (I am not a current payg customer) so this offer should go through for everyone who passes the credit check.

I would call in that case. Perhaps don't mention you're replying to an email but just checking the status of an order.

So many inconsistencies from the ee team it seems.

I got an email saying credit check didn't go through so I called them and the guy said £5/month for 12 months AND beyond for as long as I want it. I forgot to put the Apple Music on but he said just text music to 150 to get that added. He also offered me two more sims on the same deal but had no use for them.

Seemed to be no other charges so an amazing deal! Just hope we don't get stung a few months from now but I don't see how it could unless I'm mistaken?

On the ios app
In the bottom right hand corner is

But after 0 new messages on the right hand side its got the screw/nut icon clicked on that which brings up the

Update - Was fed up of waiting and still no dispatch email so decided to call EE on 0800 079 0531 as others suggested. Was immediately put through to a polite woman who asked for my order number. Once details were up she said that the order was partially completed and would be happy to sort it out. She mentioned that the sim cannot be delivered to my work address and that credit check was fine. After a couple of minutes she said it was all done and that it should be with me in 3-5 days. She never once asked if I was an existing customer. Still no dispatch email though. Fingers crossed it arrives soon. Cheers OP

i told them how I wanted an extra sim contract (this £5 one) but I'm already on contract with EE. they go that's fine, we can add another contract for you! they told me to go and buy an EE SIM and top up £5 (they need a pound credit minimum to activate my sim). Ordered sim early Thursday when the deal was first posted. Received today and after creating account with EE and logging in , it was showing 12 month sim @24.99
..
So i called 150 and spoke to someone, they asked if i had the original email confirming the price etc . I forwarded them the email while still on the phone with them .. She then went away to speak to a manager , came back and said it has been adjusted and i will only be charged the £5 per month..
Not sure though, because it's still showing at 24.99

Here is the instruction from ee
You can cancel Apple Music on EE in two ways:

by texting STOP MUSIC to 150
by calling Customer Services on 150.
If you text STOP MUSIC to 150 during your free period, Apple Music on EE will be cancelled and removed immediately. If you've cancelled during your free period and later decide you would like to take Apple Music on EE again, you'll have to choose the chargeable add-on at £9.99 per month. You can choose the chargeable add-on by texting MUSIC to 150 and then following the on-screen instructions.

All I can say is best of luck with this deal! We were on Orange and were going for the plusnet deal on here a month ago but EE retention sold us to stay with them. All I can say is they are completely useless. My wife has repeatedly phoned them as they keep charging the wrong price - got to phone them again tomorrow. They seem to put you on a tariff and the bill changes every month. Again best of luck!

I have confirmation on live chat that the discount is open ended, however the new line has finally appeared on my EE app and the discount ends June 2018. I have the emailed transcript confirming that the discount does not expire. Ill leave it a few weeks for the heat to die down before I call them again.
To be honest if it was only for 12 months its a bargain anyway, I fully expected EE to just cancel these orders.
I now have 5 lines with them, 3 with 20GB data and 2 with 4GB all MAX with roaming etc included, they cost a total of £50 per month, I cant complain!

I received my sim today, logged in and registered online with a new account (never been an EE customer before), and I`ve just twigged that there`s TWO separate £10 LOYALTY DISCOUNT add-ons in the Plan & Add On section of "My EE" column. These add-ons CAN`T be removed, like, say, the free 6 month Apple Music or London Underground Wifi free add-ons, which CAN BE deleted, thus omitted.

So I applied for 2 cards last thursday, called them on friday and failed the credit check which they said the couldn't do anything about it. Sent their credit team a stern email yesterday, lo and behold I get a reply back today saying they've overturned the decision.

Quick call back and 2 cards sorted and on their way. He did say that the discount vouchers didn't have an expiry date on them so fingers crossed.

I did try a couple of days ago to order some new ones outright but they insisted that you have to have an original order and xkn number.

Just called them and after a lot of confusion and finally giving my XKN reference number a single £20 loyalty discount is added and shows up on my add ons now.
I was told the direct debit would be for 4.99 from next month.
Since my 1st bill is already produced and dd in 5 days time, I wonder what are they gonna to take from my account? 24.98 or 4.98???

The original price plan is shown (£24.99), but the £20 loyalty will be deducted leaving the monthly bill to then be £4.99. This is what EE have said via online chat.

Apple Music is free for 6 months, which can be removed. However the BT sport can't be removed, which is the same for the £20 loyalty. Is this the same for everyone else??

Great deal for those who have been lucky to get a hold of it. Hopefully it won't go horribly wrong! X)

I simply rang up and said my monthly discount voucher hadn't applied. The lady I spoke to this asked me to forward the email confirmation, spoke to her manager and added the monthly discount. I also gave her the voucher code that I had used (before she spoke to her manager).

She further added that it would not show up until my second bill (July). I explained that I was concerned about the discount not applying in July and me then being stuck in a contract. So she sent me a text to confirm.

The previous two men I spoke to asked for the email, spoke to their managers and then said there was no issue and recommend I cancel the contract.

After reading through this thread I realised my approach was wrong. Better off telling them the discount voucher hasn't applied rather than saying the monthly amount isn't correct.

From the chat transcript

EE:We have received the email, there seems to be some technical glitch, which is why the discount didn't get applied.
ME: OK
EE:We're applying the discount for you now, this will be effective from the next bill onwards.
EE:Also the extra £19.99 you've been charged this month will also be reduced on the current bill.
ME: OK, will I get charged £25 this month then? and get a refund of £20?
ME: ah ok
ME: you'#ve answered my question!
EE:Hence, only £5.00 will be taken out from your bank account.

Ordered 2 sims, first one I chased up on Friday and told it was already processed (but had no dispatch email to this date.)

Didn't chase the second one and got dispatch email on Sunday. Both sims arrived Wednesday.

Second sim that didn't require any customer service interaction has correct price (£4.98 actually!) but first one shows full price £24.98

Spoke to a lovely lass in Gateshead this morning who sorted the discount error. Cancelled the first direct debit, as it was due next week, and took £4.99 payment by card from me today.

Ordered Thursday night with confirmation email straight away. I rang on Friday night to see if the order had gone through (which it had). Sim arrived yesterday but the discount hadn't been applied. I also had my first bill of £25 due to come out next week.

Rang this morning using the sim (150) and the very nice lady applied the discount after a couple of minutes of hold. She also added a credit for next weeks bill. It actually says on the app that the bill has been "paid". The £20 loyalty discount appeared on my EE within minutes. I ported the number on the phone with her from virgin which should go through tomorrow.

I have just contacted EE via chat.

The price of the plan (originally £24.99) will always remain, however the monthly price will be £4.99 provided you have the loyalty added on (if you go to your 'add ons' tab you should see the £20 loyalty). Furthermore, your monthly bill generated will show £4.99.

Also, they confirmed after 12 months the price plan (£4.99) will continue until otherwise informed.

I was one of the very few who didn't call in to confirm my order as I wasn't really fussed if they honoured it or not. I ordered last Friday morning, received dispatch email on Wednesday and received my SIM today. I've just registered to see if I had the same issue as others with the discount not being applied. The discount has been applied, however the plan is completely different. I've got 25GB of 4G data, however it's only double speed instead of triple and I don't have the extra 5 roaming countries. First bill is also showing at £5.60

I'm not sure if this deal is actually better or worse. Limited roaming is a minor annoyance, however 25GB is ridiculously good value at £5.60. Either way, I have 14 days decided whether not I want to keep it or not.

Checked my ee online they were trying to charge me £25 after the discount code. Called them up and they cancelled the contract. I asked why the discount didn't work, after a load of messing about they said "Oh it was meant to be £5 a month no idea why that didn't work we'll restore it if you want."

Looks like they're trying to lure people in, I bet if I didn't check before the 14 day cooling off period they'd have kept me in a £25 a month 12 month contract.

You DO NOT need to top up.
I got a free sim from 3s website and upon receiving it I just used the 3 app to port my existing number from another provider over to it, it was completed the next day on the very same day I called them and asked for my PAC code and when they asked why I told them I could not get a signal in my workplace yesterday I ported my number to EE everything was done within 4 working days.

Didn't show anything regarding 6 month free music! Anyone had same and know how to get the 6 months Apple music? Also it was asking for payment card details, do you have to give that information?

Our bill arrived today - £24.98

Rang them up.

They refused to honour the deal despite us already owning an EE plan for several years. And upgrading our EE payg which is what this deal was.

We were told that unless we could prove we took the contract with the deal applied we couldn't have it.

We couldn't prove it because the confirmation email made no reference to the price.

So it's cancelled and the payg number we'd transferred across is now reverted to payg.

To say I'm gutted is an understatement when I read how they have honoured other people's deal.
Smiddy148
16 Jun 17 #794

My email said 24.99 had "voucher code" but shown no discount. When I called them and said if it's 24.99 with discount I want to cancel they cancelled right away.

Then I said can you tell me why the discount didn't apply? They said call accounts and billing I did so and they first tried to say the deal was £24.99 a month and asked how much the email said. I said 24.99 but it says "voucher code" and shows no applied discount despite it being £5 a month on the site after applied.

They put me on hold for about 15 mins and then came back and said you're right it should have been £5 and they've added the discount

I have to say a big thank you to you - OH just did what you did after reading your post and after a lot of being on hold whilst the CS rep talked to managers he eventually came back and confirmed the deal was genuine and that we'd had the deal, reinstating it.

Contacted CS who asked me to forward the confirmation email I received. They promptly called back to say that the email doesn't show a discount (which it clearly does) but a breakdown of the total cost of £24.98. They even said they had the same happen last week, which was also refused. I was starting to get angry, as I know this has been honoured for others. I said I would get back in touch once I had more evidence, but I'm struggling to think what else I could provide to back this up.

Click that link again, and Android will ask you to open it with Apple Music app, choose that and you get to the special page. Also I would suggest doing this over EE data (no wifi), that is what I did. After the registration you can turn wifi back on.

Worked for me - I had EE sim somewhere in the past which I had lost, bit of a pain moving numbers about and then paying the bill and setting up a direct debit but their customer service (phone and online) were very good. Three couldn't believe the deal when I asked for my PAC code. Thanks OP!

19 Jun 17 #836
godvilla call them again. As I posted, we got nowhere the first time we called and ended up being put through to cancellations who only wanted to cancel, not sort out the mess. Nobody knew what we were talking about and the guy in CS thought we were lying or mistaken to have this contract for a measly £5.
We were told by another kind hearted poster to call CS and ask why the code didn't apply to the order, which we did... some hanging around on hold later whilst the CS guy went and spoke to his manager and our code was reinstated and the discount applied, contract uncancelled and an apology. For some reason CS aren't always clued up and I think several call centres, or under sets of different managers, so keep trying until you find someone who knows what this deal is about.

Brilliant Wifi Calling just got activated at 8pm (took its time!) without it people can't hear mEE ( lol ) took them days but it's all done, it's crap Plusnet Mob don't give WC access even though the phones profile and settings exist - guess BT/EE block it, which is moronic, esp for dual Plusnet customers who can't use WC lol (oh BT...business as usual!)

I'm using the neighbours Wifi with my i6S as they have Virgin 50MB which for me would be overkill on speed and ££s - my Sky broadband upload is too slow but perfect for tablet/laptop/i5S just not for WC.

Thanks OP, cheap as chips, USA/Canada/AU/NZ roaming (I may even consider a few days in Mexico while I'm down that end of the states now next year) and Wifi Calling ‌ :raised_hand:‌

Just had a very bizarre phone call from EE

started off by stating I tried to get this sim only deal a few weeks ago
I let him waffle on only to tell him, I have this deal and it is up and running

then he said ahh, yes I can see that now (then why go on about trying to get it then ??)

anyway he then goes on to say as I have such a good credit score I can have more and do I want any for other family members, as all my family are sorted I said no thanks

he said if any one else you know give us a call

very, very strange

Has anyone checked their phones ee app for the add-ons? on my last bill I got a surprise of an unexpected £20 'gesture of goodwill' credit so it put me into credit by around £13 because I had some out of bundle calls abroard.
I've just checked the app today and I have add-ons for one £20 loyalty discount and another £5 loyalty discount both with no expiry date.
