I got the X5 Pro from Gearbest last year and no real issues.
I take it abroad and access Youtube etc around the pool.
Yes plastic etc, but it's never failed.

According to every other source it does have sd card expansion. It takes 2 micro sim cards and 1 can be changed for a micro sd card.

Received mine today,
Comes with two prong plug in the box but they include uk adapter and a separate uk plug as well outside the box.
Very surprised, its actually pretty good.
Fingerprint scanner is good, 2 sims and micro sd card can be used at the same time. Fitted with screen protector and they give you a spare, comes with jelly case.
Photos are ok, speakers arent the best but perfectly usable. UI is good, no nasty pop ups, very impressed.

yes...that makes sense...but why the box contents are loose?

I received mine today but I wonder if others have got the same....the charger is packed separately from the box and although I didn't open the box as it is a present but Iam worried as when I shake the box the box I can hear the contents moving ..could it be used product?
paulandpam1 to sam1970

It could be because the original charger that may well be packaged with the phone is for a non UK socket so they have included a UK one separately.

Thanks. I had actually seen this for myself before and only came back to let others know but I got my order in. Back up to £81.99 again now.
Wonder why it was down to £59.99 not on Lightning? Leftover stock?

Stuck in the waitlist. Probably not going to happen to get a shot, would have been fine for Mum. Great find all the same, even at the original £82 price it's ok, just won't pay that on principle now

The phone would have been fine if the screen had worked properly. A £40 phone is throwaway when you consider the cost of sending it back to China for a replacement.
I'm on a LeEco Le Max 2 Pro (64GB) now. Much nicer, but it did set me back £160 so can't be compared to the X5 Pro....

I have the redmi note 4 global edition and it's fantastic, if you have the global edition and you want covers make sure you buy one for a note 4X because the global edition has a different hole position on the top.
As for your question about touchwiz I hated it and really like the Mui interface.

Basically about the price this kind of phone was selling for over two years ago. Minus a finger print reader.
Bottom line is that Doogee phones are pretty awful, unless something has changed in those two years.

My X5 Pro was generally ok but it had weak WiFi, where it would be weaker than it should be in any given area and might drop without warning, but otherwise was a bargain phone. I kind of lived with it for the price.

I Have an x5 pro and x5 standard, never had any issues with them. For the price a total bargain, if you want a flagship phone you'll have to pay a lot more - does everything I need.

It's a load of crap. At least it's from Amazon so you can buy it, realise how crap it is but thank your lucky stars you didn't get it from gearbest or banggood, give your head a wobble and then send it back before promising not to do anything stupid again. There's a reason why those in the know say stick to lenovo, huawei, zte or oneplus if you want VFM.

I bought one of these last year, dam thing was getting very hot near the camera area, and was full of ads popping up.
Then one day it just upped and died (probably cooked the processor)
I don't think these people have the same quality control that we do!
I went for a home grown phone that I could send back, if I ever have a problem

I hope it's better than the x5 pro that i bought the other year. It had a really unresponsive screen despite several wipes / restores. Easily the most frustrating mobile I've ever had the displeasure to own.
At least you have the Amazon return policy to fall back onto if it's not up to scratch...I bought from BangGood. (mad)

Thanks op, I bought one just out if curiosity, I have other phones so wont be using this as a daily phone. I might use it as a media player around the house.
Just to answer a few questions, I managed to watch a few reviews before purchase.
Its dual sim AND micro sd upto 128 Gb all together at the same time, average fingerprint scanner and camera, removable back and battery, not fast charging and comes with jelly rubber back case and screen protector.

What are you doing for accessories? There doesn't seem to be much at all out there in the UK. Ordered a couple of cases and screen protector from AliExpress with my phone which I'm waiting for. How do you find MUI? I've been used to TouchWiz from Samsung for years so I'm hoping it's not a step down.

I see that in the Description it says "ROM: 16GB, NOT Support micro TF card RAM: 2GB" and I'm not sure if that's a translation error but in one of the pictures it clearly states Dual Sim and memory expandable to 128GB. So is it expandable?
