PS5 will only work with the Vita 2XL, if you want true sideways compatibility (neither forward nor backward) PS4 works with all PS4 games. XB1 ruined their sideways compatibility by allowing 360 games something which has annoyed everyone.

great price. my local game had two copies/boxes with the head statue//mask thing for £19.99 which might be cool for some... but that's probably already posted anyway... but this is great for most so great added.

Would the PS5 be backward compatible with the PS4? or should I buy it for the XB1 knowing that it would be forward compatible (or backward compatible at the time)??

No sign of any DLC so it seems unlikely. I was gutted with the PC version though it's a very good game.

A real shame there is no sign of DLC for this. The expansions for the first game were excellent.
Really surprised this game failed - the first game was a massive success. Sequel isn't quite as good but still a fantastic game

In the brave new world of digital games on PC, console gaming is now cheaper because the games get cheaper faster. If you can wait 1 or 2 months after release, console prices drop, PC prices don't.

Their message was intended as sarcasm.
But to answer your question... I'm annoyed by it (PS4 fan here). Out of jealousy tho of course... I appreciate what MS are doing with Xbox one post-launch.

Something is wrong, the PC master race need to do something about it. Why on earth is this so cheap on consoles and not PC - this isn't how it's supposed to work!
(The reason I think is because Steam have put the free trial on so sales have gone up on PC anyway).
Lonyo to bobthewibble

For the last couple of years, since the decline in physical PC sales, prices are no longer dropping in the way they used to for PC games. Get used to it. PC gaming is more expensive than console gaming now when it comes to buying the games, before you consider resale value.
This is, apparently, what people wanted.

Go with Xbox, unlike PlayStation their games are forward compatible and they don't charge for backwards compatibility. Plus the new Scorpio console is way more powerful the PS4 Pro and can run games in native 4k unlike PS4 Pro. All XboxOne games will run on better on Scorpio, PS4 Pro games have to be patched to run PS4 game any better, and PSN is flaky to say the least.
