I don't think I have seen this, this low so far. I was going to wait for the £20 mark but... well... It's now downloading  Can't wait to get stuck in, will have to dust my old steering wheel down and hope it still works (It's been a while)

Motorsport by its very nature is dangerous. DiRT 4 is all about embracing that danger. It’s about the thrill, exhilaration and adrenaline that is absolutely vital to off-road racing. And more than that, it’s about loving that feeling. It’s about pushing flat out next to a sheer cliff drop. Going for the gap that’s slightly too small. Seeing how much air you can get in a truck. They call it ‘being fearless’.

Great price, very tempting and doubt this will get anywhere near this price in the steam sales considering the RRP on steam is £44.99 and as a new game it will probably only see -10-15% if that.
BTW kinda sucks that Codemasters give no discount for those that bought the last DIrt Rally, which I did at full price when it came out on Early Access, way to reward loyalty NOT. Still tempted at this price though, red hot!

Also there is 8% cashback at both Quidco and TCB, cashback never guaranteed but might as well try if you are going to buy it anyway.
Also after adding it to my cart on SCD I noticed there is a bit for a promo code, anyone know if there are any current working ones for them?
Haven't gone through with it yet in case there is a code I could use to knock a bit more off, every little helps....

Was about to correct you there on the cashback rate until I realised the merchant's not CDKeys. Never heard of SCDKey but Trustpilot reviews look legit. Talking of reviews, Dirt 4 has mixed reviews on Steam, not a Rally fan so wasn't ever going to buy it but if sales are poor, the price will drop anyway.

Yeah, I'm really on the fence, maybe we will see sub £20 soon but will be frustrated if it goes the other way (back up). I know the reviews are mixed but most of the bad ones seem to be from sim fanatics that don't like the more relaxed handling style where as I liked Dirt Rally but found it really tough going at times so think this game would actually suit me perfectly as I'm slightly more arcade than sim in my preferences....

Great game, good frame rates and looks superb too.

I find the stages on this utterly soulless so I got rid of my copy. The previous game obviously became overtly familiar but every corner had character. None of the stages in this do. The rallycross is far more fun though.

.. you do realise half the premise for DiRT 4 is its randomly generated courses?
Excellent price for a very good game.

I do indeed. They're utterly soulless too.
There's more to a stage than length and variety. There needs to be proper challenge and thought put into them. The best stages in rally games let you really sink your teeth into them.
These ones are a procession of the same old stuff jumbled up slightly differently.

I know what you mean. But I think DiRT Rally should be viewed as a separate franchise to this, which has many different disciplines, more variety and emphasis on moving around. I think DiRT 4 takes some of the best things about DR and puts its own franchise spin on it. I think it would be unfair to expect a DiRT Rally successor out of this- that will be a separate project I think.
What I do like about the randomly generated courses is that it forces you to listen to the co-driver, very good practice.
