This price is already the £10 off for VIP members. They're not going to offer you £10 off for being a VIP and then another £10 off for being a VIP :/

I had a demo on this with Dali Sensor Pico speakers a couple of days ago and sounded great! I very nearly bought however for an extra £70 I have decided to go for the Denon RCD N9. looks nicer and has BT, NFC and WIFI. I could just put in of my Chromecasts into the MD40 but that's just something else to be powered and another cable. in terms of the MD40 it's 5/5 in What HiFi and won an award as well. you can't really go wrong at this price.

They are all doing good deals on the DM40 at the moment because the DM41 has just been released (now includes Bluetooth and updated innards) .

Heat from me - the QAcoustics 3010's are nice too.

John lewis sell silver dm40 plus denon speakers for 249, no idea which speakers are better.

A pretty decent system right there. I believe the DM40 is a 5-star WhatHiFi Mini System class leader, and the QAcoustics speakers have been very well reviewed as well.
