Dell XPS laptop. Bought one of these a few weeks ago at much more than this. Works out at £695.18 ex VAT if you're buying for a company. Nice and light, better screen than a Macbook in my view and tiny bezel. New ones start at £1,150 and I've never heard of a refurbished one going wrong.

Hate the way they put the price without vat then add it at the cart!!! Was just about to pull the trigger until I saw the vat added!!
Nice, Dell seem to do good outlet prices on current gen stock.
The 2 in 1 qhd had a 25% discount making it £749 inc vat the other day:
25% off XPS 13 - 9365 2-in-1 DOXPS
Currently out of stock. Didn't pull the trigger as I'm not sure about the y series cpu.

You got to be fast on the Outlet stock. The ULV series CPUs (now Core M) are honestly fine unless you're hammering the machine, in which case it's arguable you want something larger anyway. Having owned this and the larger XPS 15, I can confirm it's the best Windows experience out there and about the closest you'll get to a Mac without using a Mac, if that's what you're after. Not without its flaws but it's pretty much spot on.

Agreed on fast.
I've been eyeing the outlet now for a month trying to grab an Inspiron 15 7657 model and they're on for maybe 1h max. I saw a mode I wanted yesterday but by he time I got out of a meeting (15m) it had gone.
I think folk flip them on eBay

bought mine for £719.23 with 20% discount (9360 1080p i5 7th gen non touch 256gb 8GB RAM)
Laptop looked brand new when it came from outlet, although the keys looked slightly slanted, still, for that price can't complain!

Seriously, without adding a bit more context that just comes across as an internet brag, rather than being a helpful post.

So many comments saying 'almost like a mac'! Just buy a mac (get a student nus card to get the student discount)
I bought an earlier version for my daughter from the outlet and it is still going strong almost 4 years later; she is now complaining about the screen not being as nice as these edge to edge displays (bought one for my son for university from the outlet last June and so far no problems).
Colleague also went for a 15 inch (with 1tb solid state!) and he is blown away by it.

Be warned, dell outlet warranty is useless, they refused to take in a xps 15 that ground to a halt, taking 10+ mins to start up and kept freezing. They wanted to charge me £70 to have a look at it as they thought it was a software issue. Had to get Amex to refund. Dell didn't dispute it. Never buying Dell again, bought a macbook with NUS discount and haven't looked back.

for future ref, good start would be to check the disk using disk sentinel or trying a linux distro from USB if that freeze too its defo something more deeper. they usually are software issues tho freezing...

The Dell outlet warranty is the same as a standard Dell warranty and I've claimed on it without issue although there can be a bit of knack with Dell staff. They can be difficult when there's not a clearcut failure but it's simply not true to claim there is no warranty for all cases.

Horrendous coil whine on these. I've had nothing but issues with the XPS 9350, 9360, 9550 and 9560 I've had. I'm not buying any more now. Plus the trackpads are dreadful. I'm not buying another.

No coil whine on a 9560 I picked up a few months back from the outlet.

i have no coil whine on mine at all, then again it is the lower powered version at 9360 i5 1080p so cpu isn't stressed as much.
I knew I had 14 days to return it for a full refund, so took the gamble, and it paid off

have you had this long, as I'm tempted to buy an older one too

Had whine on my 9550 when I got it from Outlet too. One call to Dell and a guy was round next day to swap out the motherboard (plus new CPU and GPU as they are soldered on!) and problem was sorted. And could still have returned it as it was within the 14 day period.
Wouldn't let coil whine put you off!

9360 isn't an older model, just a lower end model.

I have to say my last experience with Dell wasn't great. Bought a certified refurb that developed a fault within the first 30 days of ownership. They asked me if I was comfortable taking apart the laptop to try and fix to which I pointed out that I wasn't prepared to do that and asked for a replacement. After a week of getting nowhere I asked for a refund instead and emailed a letter formally rejecting the goods and advised them that I would also be contacting my CC company in preparation for a claim under Section 75. That finally did the trick, although it was still painfully slow to get the refund. My previous purchase from Dell was trouble free but I never had a problem with the laptop, this however has put me off buying from them in the future as it just wasn't worth the hassle.
I'm voting hot for the deal and hope anyone buying doesn't have any problems.

Might try again because I want a alienware... But I've heard it's probably best to wait till the end of the month because of the new amd cards... Not too sure if dell will follow and reduce their costs
