I recently bought the Cubot Manito, otherwise I'd be all over this. Been watching this for about a week and in the evenings it seems to drop to this amazing price and then it goes back up during the day. Weird, slightly annoying but hey, it's £83.99 now and available in 3 colours. I don't think you can beat it for the price, especially delivered by Amazon Prime!

V22 firmware seems to cure any problems if anyone is having issues.

The black and silver phones are back down to £83.99. I bought one last week, I am very happy with it.

I wouldn't bother. Screen is nice and it's fast but it uses Adups for its firmware updates. Adups has been criticised for multiple security issues, including sending personal data (contacts, IMEI number, and even the contents of text messages) to China, and having backdoors in their software, which can be used to do practically anything to the phone without the user's consent or indeed knowledge. Certainly, a scan with Malwarebytes found adware (PUP.Riskware.YeMobi.a) on the phone right after I installed it, and that was without me doing anything else.
Interestingly, after a system update, Malwarebytes didn't find anything amiss, neither did Avira or AVG. However, Adups is still present and running (confirmed by running "find" in a terminal) and that's enough for me. I will never be able to trust it, and for that reason I'm returning mine.

To all those who say "Cubot never heard of them!". I have bought Cubot phones for several years now and they're great, I have a Cubot Dinasaur at present, it's got a huge battery life and all the bells and whistles I need, what's more I paid £106 for it and don't have to pay the likes of Apple £700 for similar. Don't knock Cubot phones till you've tried one.

I took a chance a few years ago with Cubot 5" phone. I bought it for a friend who has sight loss as they always complained about not being able to read the texts or type numbers on a small screen. Called him just now and it is still going strong. Thanks OP that is his birthday present sorted. Damn, Expired.

I asked a question on here a couple of days ago - I was looking for a dual sim phone with a micro SD card slot that was good value... this is it!
I was so close to buying either the Wileyfox Swift 2 or Moto G5 that have been listed on here today, but this particular phone does more than what I need with the extra memory and RAM.
Thanks for posting OP!

There seems to be Official Cubot phones and this one which is Unofficial no idea what the consequences are by buying this one other than the great saving. Battery life seems low but I guess that's the screen using the juice. In every other respect I agree with the OP this does seem to represent good value for money for a phablet.
