Everywhere else its about £80. Comes with UK plug and slot for SD card to extend the 16GB if needed. Quad Core MT6737 (1.3GHz), 3GB ram, 4G with Android Marshmallow for less than £55. And I know, the screen resolution is 720p but again, it's £55.

Seems like users trying to track apps and ads being installed unasked. Some mention of latest firmware will improve situation.

yeah just been reading about the malware shipped in the firmware, apparently v20 onwards of the firmware is clean so anyone who purchases this is best checking they are on v20 or above
No this does not have a gyroscope so you cannot use Pokémon's augmented reality feature :disappointed:

too risky to get stung by customs / import stuff - done it before and it makes it not such a bargain :disappointed:

I bought the Cubot Cheetah 2 from Amazon, £99.99 (open box like new) had it about 6 weeks and I highly recommend great phone, excellent value for money.

Can't remember which cubot, but got one for my dad who's a pensioner, and it's great, the duel sim even comes in handy as he goes abroad a lot. I then got a bluboo of here for around £60 a month or so ago when I couldn't get my repaired Huawei p9 unlocked. Used it for a few weeks and I really have to say that I am surprised by how good these cheap phones are. I'm back to using the P9 now but I now have a soft spot for the bluboo, everything is better on the P9, but for the extra cash you pay, I can't really say that it justified its price in comparison to how well the bluboo performed.

Good luck buying something with a name like Cubot! Why can't you just get a Sammy or Apple ffs???

Got two of these phones in my household. Very happy. Picked up from Amazon on a recent Lightning Deal for £56.99, one to replace an LG G4 which recently died. Pretty much as good as the G4, but no NFC.

Mobile received & looks ok. Just after 1 day I start to receive error message "unfortunately YouTube has stopped working " which don't go away & don't let me do anything at all. Not even login or receive a call. I believe this is a bug in ROM. can someone please advise ? I manage to get it factory reset but after 2 days it's back again.
Anyone had similar issue ?
Thanks

v22 firmware seems to cure any malware and pop ups. Mine is running great now. It's just shame you need to manually download and install it yourself. There's instructions on the web.
