Lightweight and super-comfortable, the NosiLife Shirt makes a great trail partner. The polyamide construction provides day-long moisture management for a fresh feel in the stickiest conditions whilst protecting from insect bites and the suns rays.
Never seen them this cheap before. Normally at least £30. I think this is the basic shirt with no frills and only one pocket but looks like a bargain to me. Postage £3.95.
Also should add that they come with a lifetime guarantee if bought direct from Craghoppers website, which this is.
All waist sizes from 30 to 40" are available, but only regular leg length.

Brought the brown version when it was £6 something, easily the best value shirt I ever brought even better than my 97p primark shirt. This is well made, very tough an durable yet being very soft and mosquito repellent.
At this price it is a little dear but still worth it, have some heat

Do these shirts have the double collars?

As far as I'm aware they all do. I bought a basic Craghoppers shirt about 5 years ago, cheapest in the range and that had the collar that will cover the back of your neck completely when folded open so I'd guess this one does, but can't say 100%.

It's the ones that say "Solar Shield" that have the double collars. It's always marked just under the Craghoppers Branding so you can normally notice it from any website pictures if they don't list it as a "feature".

is it the fabric that makes the shirt bug-resistant or is it impregnated with anti-bug stuff?

"NosiLife is a breakthrough in textile innovation utilising a unique permanent anti-insect technology, providing proven protection for the lifetime of your garment."
That's quite interesting - thanks for sharing. The article does state thin clothing but think that's a given anyway. Still think this clothing is quite gimmicky. And I say that as I'm actually from Malaysia and lived in a house where mosquitos were a real problem because we lived near large areas of bushes and grass where water could collect - only uncovered areas were ever bitten.

I think it may be subjective. There are some people that are absolutely irresistible to mosquitoes (me) so for them any area not protected with deet or otherwise is a viable target. If you think about it, bigger mozzies will have a longer proboscis capable of penetrating all but the tightest weave if they're determined to find a way through.
I do think the NosiLife gear has some merit though, as it's very thin so you can wear it in the heat and it does have repellent properties as shown last weekend where I managed to stay bite free wearing NosiLife shirt and trousers yet my wife was bitten through her clothing. Only anecdotal obviously but it's rare for me to escape bite free at times when she's been bitten.
