Take the hassle out of toastie making with Cookworks low-cost stainless steel sandwich toaster, which can make up to 4 delicious sandwiches in no time. With non-stick plates, the signature sandwich toaster is easy to clean, too. 1100 watts. Makes 4 sandwiches. Handle locking clip. Non-stick, . Cord storage.

Had this one before and it's pretty useless. The actual sandwich size and fill cavity is too small. It's impossible to even make a simple cheese melt sandwich because everything oozes out before it's even done.
Not recommended for anyone that actually wants something inside the sandwich..

I wouldn't say so. We had one growing up, about 20years plus ago and I'd get one myself if only I had the space to keep it.

I just use a hot non stick fry pan and a large spatula to flip.

Does anyone actually use these things for longer than a couple of months?!

Has to be the younger generation who are buying these surely? Once you learn these things are the items that get stuffed into the back of cupboards after taking someones palate off with lava cheese....you dont get caught out twice.
....Three uses tops, then away for years before you repeat the same mistake again. Any George Foreman Grills on sale anywhere that I can avoid? Sodastream maybe. You only buy one of these items in your lifetime before giving it away..

its through fleabay not argos website it need to be in the title op
We used to have one like this but unless you get Hovis bread with its small slices its useless. We brought a Breville one which has just flat hot plates and can take normal sized slices of bread.

Just picked it up. Looks good but a little small for most loaves' slice sizes these days. Recommends med sliced bread for most fillings. A nice suggestion is sprinkling a teaspoon of sugar on sweet fillings for an extra crunchy outside. Thanks OP!

I don't want to be a pedant but if this is a 4 slice toaster, do two of the hotplates not work then?
