How many happy customers actually review compared to the small majority of disgruntled customers. The numbers are vastly apart. Clarks have one of the best returns policies on the high street so that always provides me with some reassurance.

Careful buying children's shoes. Went in last week and got my daughter measured and came up a 9 sales assistant went and got me that size sandals I thought they were only the right size for now but she said no 9 and a half would be too big. They now are too small and it's been a fortnight!

Take them back with your receipt and they should exchange them. You should have at least 6 weeks wear. Also leave a review on their website and they will get back to you very quickly. I hope this helps.

Go back - insist that they measure her again and give you sandals that fit - if it's been 2 weeks they should do it, as they measure with some growing room, or they used to.

Have to agree with Newbold. The quality of shoes brought in for the sale are inferior. I look at the better shoes in their shops on shelves away from the sale and never see these reduced. Had a recent failure of Clarks shoes on a trip to London for a classical concert on the 3rd time I'd worn them. Heels on a pair of mens goretex lined oxford style shoes completely disintegrated. Limped to a clarks shop in Oxford St where the staff said as they were from an outlet store they couldn't do anything. Did offer to sell me a pair of shoes but obviously went somewhere else.

don't do it, I ordered two sets of work shoes, both size 10. I received one set of size 9, the other set was a size 10.5 and a size 10 that someone sharpied a half onto to attempt making it a matching pair. just awful, will never buy from them again.
