Lowest ever price and one of the lowest prices for a new mirrorless interchangeable lens camera in the UK if you don't mind white.

True, picked one up from Amazon a while ago for he same price. Not really that impressed to be honest, sold it on and had a complaint off the buyer saying how poor the video was.

This is now £299 and in stock so I think it was a pricing error and we are not getting them.

They've shipped them out before they noticed the misprice ;p. Just got this email:
Your order (CURxxxxxx) is on its way and will be delivered to you by Royal Mail Tracked.
Mate its pretty clear there's not a black and white answer when it comes to cameras.
Some cameras, in this case, mirrorless cameras will peform better than others regardless of what the spec claims.
The comment was aimed at those who have used both cameras and could provide their opinion to help some others.

Can anybody answer this question for me, I have a Fujifilm XA2 but have not used it yet and have ordered this Canon, does anyone know which is the better camera? I have a feeling it is the Fujifilm but not quite sure.

i am guessing that the better camera is more expensive

I bought it last year currys online. Delivery was fine but camera itself it's not so good for recording. Major issue is that there is no mic input and there is white noise which is just HORRIBLE and I couldn't even edit in the post production. For photography is fine.

okay. For you camera geeks. Is this better compared to the YI M1 mirrorless camera?

As a camera geek, I cringe when I see questions like that, thinking there's a black and white answer.
To an extent, the "best" or "better" camera is the one whose drawbacks you can live with the most. If you get a camera that on paper is better than one of similar specification but you hate its ergonomics, you may use it very little and just get average photos at best. Conversely, if you get a camera that appears somewhat "inferior" in specs to something else in a similar class but you love its ergonomics, you may use it a lot and get fantastic photos.

FYI This doesn't have an external mic socket like the original EOS M

Superb deal. I have (and love) my Sony mirrorless A5000 - but this has the edge for lowlight shots, stability etc

No EVF, making it almost useless on a sunny day.
I'm a big DSLR fan but would love a small camera for days out with the kids,. There is just never anything to tempt me, though Olympus OM-D range does try

Take a look at the Fuji X70...amazing little camera. More expensive than the Olympus OM-D range, but you essentially get what you pay for.

"Lowest ever price and probably lowest price for a mirrorless camera in the UK"
Lots of mirrorless cameras for less than that, so you may want to reflect on your opening statement.

Excellent price for a good upgrade from your smartphone camera. I paid £230 at Christmas after Canon cashback and Quidco
great. ordered and paid £180.95 using my work rewards scheme card.

Only downside (for me at least) is the lack of an EVF (Electronic Viewfinder), but otherwise a very hot deal for a mirrorless camera and lens combo.

Massive downside for me. Had one of the original EOS M and it was unusable in many situations.

Canon's mirrorless options are pretty low on the list when it comes to manufacturers (well, propped just off the bottom by Nikon), but for under £200 with a kit lens it's difficult to really complain. There's not many better options even in the £200-£300 bracket right now. If you're in the market for a high image quality camera on a strict budget and don't want to buy used, it's a solid buy.
I'd also immediate set towards saving for the 22mm f2, a really nice all-purpose prime that turns the M10 into something you can easily fit in a jacket pocket.

Looks like they've accidentally matched the body only price for Amazon.
