This seem's like a good price, but I just cant pay another £20+ for a Call of Duty game to be let down again.

It's not about pre-ordering, it's about securing a decent price, and in many cases the savings will offset other concerns. CDKeys tend to have deals like this well in advance of release, but around launch prices will go up to near RRP. I neglected to look for deals on Dark Souls 3 in advance, for example, and on launch ended up paying £35.

Option 1 - Pre-order and play the beta, if its crap, cancel the order?
Option 2 - Dont order, wait for the game to be released and check footage, reviews etc.
Option 3 - Hate the game, hate the publisher, hate the developer and put it in writing in every free text box you can find on the internet.
I think that just about covers it.

Did you ever play Infinite Warfare? It should've been free. The only thing I liked about it was that gun that splits in two.

No you have regurgitated a load of nonsense you heard on YouTube and said nonsense was only posted on YouTube in the first place because of how YouTubers make most of their money.

The developers won't be screwing anybody. The publisher might but the developers won't.

So let's see... I've given an opinion that could help people form opinions, and for some reason all you've done is personally attacked me in a very childish manner. Good stuff. Are you on the Activision payroll?

Anyone with any common sense won't pre order this, wait for reviews.
With all the trailers and gameplay so far it looks just like any COD sadly so it's not even worth it at this price.

How about you take your YouTuber nonsense elsewhere and stop telling people what to do with their own money. People are allowed to form their own decisions.

For me, FPS of the year 2017 will be wolvenstein. Be interested to see how this game turns out, but I don't have much hope. COD for me is about campaign now and I can't stand multiplayer.
Heat for the early price.

Not quite sure why people are saying its poor. People wanted a more traditional COD, the MP gameplay looks solid, and the game mode War could be a good addition.

The last Sledgehammer CoD, Advanced Warfare, had horrible performance issues on PC that were never fixed. A good price but I'd recommend holding off on buying, especially since the game's multiplayer population may dwindle fast if there's issues.

So maybe you paid an extra 20% to get DS3 at launch vs pre-ordering, but waiting let you see reviews and confirm it was worth buying. If you pre-order to save 20%, only 1 bad game out of 5 will mean you're losing money. Are > 1/5th of games a disappointment? Absolutely. So pre-ordering doesn't make sense.

Pre-ordering a CoD game would be a really stupid decision. You do realise that this is an unlimited digital commodity, right? Wait until reviews are out, and buy it at launch.

good price, I don't think this will drop in price as fast as IW did.
