You'd need to measure them as the last time I selected a fridge I measured them as they do vary enough for it to have been an issue.

Wilko own make with a spare universal filter only £5 in store and 3 other filters for £4 bought today in the Newport Rd Cardiff branch. Just as good.

A 3-pack of cartridges costs this much on eBay, so this is well worth it! I also never believe the indicators on the top of these - each filter is rated for 100 litres, ignore the 4 weeks! Examples:
If you use these in a kettle and make 4 cups of tea a day, this will last 100 days / 14 weeks / 3 months
If you drink 1 litre of water from this each day (for 2 people) it will last 50 days / 7 weeks / 1.5 months

i threw my old one away today.
also old cartridges can be recycled/disposed of carefully buy returning to argos (just hand over to the customer servce. you don't need to buy them from argos).
