I've been looking for a good hand blender to make hummous (tired of the supermarket kak), and came across several made of plastic that had varying reviews and 250W-400W motors. I happened upon this deal from Robert Dyas, as they're having an "up to 50% off" event, and their sales are usually pretty good. Compared with all of the other Bosch hand blenders at the same price point are plastic and lower power - so this beats them all.
600W, stainless steel removable blade for easy cleaning and stiffness. Comes with a decent 3-cup measuring/mixing container.

Wilco have one similar to the Amazon one for £16
I bought it recently when it was on offer for £12 and definitely worth every penny

never heard of that brand, and you have to add 8 quid for delivery
also not prime, so if you have problems you will have to return at your own expense (if the seller isn't shady and doesn't abandon you completely... which is likely)
