It is never a bad idea to wear gardening gloves whilst gardening. Especially when cutting shrubs with thick stems that can leave a sharp edge after cutting, unless you like to bleed over your foliage.

I once cut my fingers with hedge cutters. Took a serious chunk out. Never really thought about gloves before

Thanks but no thanks skykid3 but they're a bit more than i wanted to spend.
Also, Einhell?!? Not the best brand name...sounds like you can fight of the undead with them once you've finished trimming your bush though! :smirk:
Heat from me. I do a lot of hedgecutting at work and have been using these for the last 5 years. Wear out two every year. For big gardens, I used to have petrol hedgecutters, but now use these with a small petrol generator. Light enough to use all day, good for precise work and no exhaust fumes in your face.

This is not currently available direct from Amazon, but if you look at other buying options there is the option for free delivery from Amazon Marketplace (French Seller) for £27. I would assume however this would come with a european plug requiring an adapter or cut off and replacement with a UK plug.
