Normal rolls of duct / gaffer tape are 50mm x 50m and typically cost around £5. This is 42mm x 10m, so although it works out marginally cheaper per square meter, it's not the absolute bargain it might seem.

By marginally pretty much half price as 42mm vs 50mm is mute for most jobs but this is 2x10m rolls so 50m is £2.50, whether the tape is any good is a different matter though :smirk:

One of the odd things I bring back from the US if I have some spare luggage allowance, 55yards of Duck tape costs around £2.50 over there.

♂★★★★★★★★★★1 out of 5 stars.Blods · 4 months ago Hardly any tapePurchased these rolls in B&Q and was very disappointed. The way its packaged makes it look like a couple of substantial rolls of tape, but in fact there is only 10m which is only a little more thickness of tape than the cardboard roll it comes on. It was also almost impossible to find the start of the tape on both rolls and the tape rips so easily its hard to see how much use it would be. If you think of gaffer tape as being the large roll, which is super strong, rips easily in a straight line - a million uses, then this is not it.

If I buy this along with a shovel, a bag of lime and a rug will B&Q ask for ID?

These don't look very long (can't see where it states the length), but probably worth the money.

Perhaps you might want to change the title to B&Q.
