Actually, the last time I did a bulk order on Aliexpress PayPal was listed as a payment option but it was grayed out. Still though, when you're only dealing with a £1.60 torch or similar low value items the risk is worth it in my opinion and its not like Ali doesn't offer you any protection, they have a dispute system.

I use Banggood, not as often as I used too since moving over to Aliexpress but I've had zero issues with them. I stopped using them as my primary source of Chinese knick-knackery as they got expensive with the same stuff often being sold on Ali significantly cheaper.

For £1;60 a fair price, but they are not 600lumen....

I have about 15 accounts with various Chinese and Hong Kong retail sellers and all have their advantages and disadvantages.
Never had issues with Banggood. Have placed 47 orders to date Had a recent DOA item and it took 3 days with video evidence to sort. the problem. Item was resent straight after.
Aliexpress agreed is cheaper on some items but not all especially when you factor in their postage costs.
Others that have Europe based warehouses are sometimes an advantage while we're still in the EU however this could be short lived.

I would avoid this offer. Banggood used to be fairly reliable but they have become appalling of late. They are now far worse than Gearbest ever good who strangely have got a lot better in the last year or so.

A Cree fake for £1.30 maybe and I've had a few. There maybe torches cheaper but these I've found reliable and except both types of batteries. Both of mine are still working after almost 2 years with regular use. £1.60 well spent.

Have a look on budgetlightforum for a lot of advice about cheap torches. But be very wary using lithium batteries in too-cheap stuff. Generally speaking, from about as little as £5 you'll get decent quality stuff that uses AA/AAA, maybe £8 upwards for stuff using lithium.

I have two of these 1st one I ordered via this site was better quality than the 2nd one I ordered , still can't complain for the price. Going to ordered another one for the car.

These run also on the 3v lithium cells for the higher outputs. Still nowhere near the BG ratings. I use plain old AA's which work fine at close range using the zoomable lens. Probably only 150-200 lumens using the AA's

I don't doubt these are okay torches, but 7W for an AA battery is a bit high, regular alkaline AAs will not be happy putting out nearly 5A, they only reach their rated capacity at ~0.1A.
