If you can find the 622, it's a huge upgrade on video quality.

I'd use it to ask the OP to bring a cup of tea up

Oh, and two way talk.
What parent would ever use this function - I spend enough time convincing the kids that ghosts / monsters etc. aren't really real and their rooms are safe as ever. Why would I then make the room talk to them?!?!? They would never sleep again. Ever.

I have a Logi Circle camera picked up from an Amazon Lightning deal for under £70 if I remember correctly. It's very good - while they claim 1080p resolution I suspect it's closer to 720p but definitely very, very clear even at night with the IR LEDs on; you get free 24h cloud recording which you can access easily on the mobile; the Android and iOS apps are stable and work perfectly on 4G. It also comes with a clever design touch which allows you to remove the camera from it's charging ring and take it with you for a few hours as it has a built in battery - very useful if you take your kiddo to another room for a few hours.
For the price, however OP's deal is pretty good for a video monitor of even moderate quality so heated.

I can only agree with comments about poor video quality - it's so bad I personally don't see any value in the video function and would either get a better quality one (which I appreciate is a lot more expensive) or just stick to an audio only one.
Scare-mongering I know; but when there's websites out there with links to people's wi-fi cameras, I'd prefer an off line baby monitor over a wi-fi one - they used to work fine without wi-fi; why the need to have it wi-fi (and potentially hackable?).
I know it's down to bad passwords on the wi-fi or camera itself, but still, I'd take offline over picture quality any day.

Yes, this is not HD quality, but you don't need that.
Does it trigger sound when baby or child awakes? Yes
Can you see when they are sat up? Yes
Highly recommended from us, we had two in 4 years.
Just don't wrap or coil the plug wire, as it is flimsy and will split away from plug, hence why we had two, as replacement leads are hard to find.

Agree with lanc1979, had it for 2 weeks now and it does the job. Not sure why you'd need HQ video to watch your little darlings sleep...or likely not sleep being the case.

Have also had one of these things. Terrible video quality and not recommended.
