My 12 volt one has a faulty thumb lock valve connector, I wonder if you can remove the thumb lock valve from this cheap £1 footpump and swap it over to my 12volt one. Thumb lock valves on Amazon are £4.99 so it would work out a cheaper deal for me.

In the same boat here, cheaper thumb locks available though, buy via eBay and source an appropriate jubilee clip.

Good deal will last all of 12 seconds before frame gets bent and deformed- dysfunctional!

Will buckle under the pressure of the foot.

Probably end of line in one or two stores, half a dozen in stock across the UK.

ok for a pound but if you want a pump that's going to last, get a track pump, these foot pumps don't last long

I got one for my workplace after someone nicked/broke the electric pump
It's a bit carp - clearly costs them less than 10p a unit on Alibaba or something. It's probably on sale because so many are returned due to taking forever to reach any more than around 35psi.
Look elsewhere. Cold.

Does anyone still use these? Electric ones are available almost anywhere for less than a tenner.
