My 1070 dual fan runs cool (60c) so i wonder how much hotter these can run- probably not much. If you needed one now then this must be the cheapest around.

I got a Asus 1070 Dual OC and on idle its 34c and playing games, jsut doesnt go past 50. Not too sure on the blowers mind. Couldnt be that much?

Its not a bad deal though it is a blower so it will be louder and hotter than something like the Dual OC. Depends how much you can ignore the noise :smile:

Wonder which games do you play. Probably some indies your dual oc don't reach 65+

If I recall, this is a discontinued card. So there is no guarantee whether or not Amazon will get the stock - but they don't (shouldn't) take money unless it's dispatched so may be worth a punt it's a good price) if you're in the market for a new GPU. But don't get your hopes too high :smiley:

Great price for those not bothered about aftermarket cooler ones , in the market myself for upgrading from 1080p on a gtx 780 to either a 1070 or 1080 for 1440p , I'll probably take the punt for an aftermarket cooler one though since I appreciate the silence of them

I thought i'd not be bothered by a card using a blower style cooler but after getting a card with just that, it put me right off, they are so loud compared to aftermarket I'll never get a blower again - if you don't mind noise then this is great but if you even remotely think that noise will bother you, don't make the same mistake I did, it'll drive you nuts.

Would this be louder than an MSI Gaming Z?
Just bought a Gaming Z and it cost a lot more than this.
Will be miffed if performance isn't much different but it's a little louder.
