More experienced members can add to this if I've missed something.

what I usually do when finding argos deal:
1. lower expectation of product quality by 70%
2. try hard to not get tempted by the nice looking item pictures as the outcome is 99% different from it
3. search properly about product information as their product description us shocking and often misleading. often they sell timber with description of gold
4. check after all the efforts, whether it's still possible whether I can find something worth buying from the deal
5. usually regretting spend 3h of my life trawling through their catalogue and eventually found nothing worth buying.

Btw.... hot for the deal simply for the efforts

3. Read the description and decide whether i need the item cheeky

You have to register all your details before finding out if the code works, I hate that.

Only online but quote code HOME20 instore at till and it takes it off. I posted this under vouchers the other day and it practically went cold. This code has been working for well over a week and saved me quite a lot.

Good old Chanchi32, posted a "VOUCHER" under a "DEAL", if only the moderator would let me do that !!!

How about next time you see an Argos deal, you save some of that wasted time by ignoring it? You clearly dislike Argos so why bother?
