Slash's autobiography is a great read if you have the time. Having read it, I still have no idea how they put out music or could even stand up straight.

I was listening to this again last week. It never gets old. 'I see you standing there. You think you're so cool. Why don't you just....f**koff!'

They've toned things down a bit recently.

You can collect points from online purchases but the vinyl appears to be full price (£20.99) online with no mention of the offer...

They where full songs (not b side songs). I am not able to to get the Vinyl at the moment as they are stored at my dads house as i do not have the space in my house to store them all (over 150 Gun N Rose Vinyl) now with mobile phones i will be able to get some nice recording of them as my Vinyl player (also at my dads house) was my granddads so no option to record from it and never needed to record from vinyl to cassette tape before. i am guessing there is stuff out there to record from Vinyl to MP3 but i ant going to spend that kinda money only on a handful of songs.

Where they pubby dog bootlegs by chance? I had a load but have since disappeared. The only unreleased song I can remember cut off after 90 seconds but it had a great intro - Crash Diet.

I used to collect Guns N roses vinyl's and managed to get some DJ ones. I also have one that has some songs i have never seen on Tape, CD or MP3.

Aerosmith were the same in the 1970's and LED Zeppelin towards the end of the 70's. The problem is always doing too many hard drugs such as Heroin and getting addicted to them. I've seen Aerosmith and Gun's N Roses live and fortunately they had good days when I saw them.

Read it, and Axl's, Duffs, Slash's, Adlers & the band biography - all great reads from different angles. The amount of times they've literally died is staggering

still got my original bought when I was 14 lol. Its got a different cover to this though, great album and back in the day each track could have been a single in its own right, not like this modern rubbish :man:

Does it have the banned cover (i.e. the one with the robot) on the front? It's worth a few quid if so...

I liked Chinese Democracy but it certainly does't have the longevity as Appetite or the UYI's
I think Steven Adler being booted out also changed the sound for the worse and those drum solos from Matt S. :-o Yawn but just my opinion.

My cousin has the original vinyl with the original cover, but his if I remember rightly had the stickers on the wrong the side, bet a misprints worth even more now.

I've no problem with that. Good music is good music, and all of the other albums, including Chinese Democracy, are loaded with great songs. The only issue I really have with his over-production problem is how long it therefore takes him to do anything. He could have released several albums by now.
They're also still great live, even before Slash and Duff returned to the current line-up.

IMHOHe did ruin them. Not just his antics but his craving for over production on the albums. You can see it happening from Use Your Illusions onwards

Which is about 20 quid now - the standard price a lot of albums are released at on vinyl. And people say prices keep going up. Don't know they're born!
