Are people confusing bar with psi? It's not 70 psi, it's 70 bar!

At 70psi it'd be grand for cleaning your car but I wouldn't expect great results on pavement or patio either and 92dB I'm sure it's pretty loud. Cheap enough but worth shopping around online.

Ermm that's a different model so not relevant - I'll repeat what I've already said, this will struggle to remove anything but the newest marks from a patio and any decent pressure washer shouldn't be used on a car. This is a toy.

Any decent pressure washer shouldn't be used on a car?
I have a Karcher K5 which is 145 bar and it is perfectly fine on the car. As long as you aren't using the rotating 'cone' (dirtblaster)lance and you use the vario lance which gives a fan jet then there is no risk of damage to your car.
Car valeters/detailers use much more powerful machines such as Kranzle. It is all down to the lance you use. You should never use the direct jet dirt blasting nozzles on a car.

Wtf is a backflow prevention device?

A device for preventing backflow.
All outside taps used to connect hoses to should have them anyway but it's to prevent contaminated water from your device syphoning back into the public water main.
I think.
Also, I'm wondering if that should say potable rather than portable in the Aldi ad.

I don't have decking and I've never washed my patio, walls, pipes or car.
The homebase one is more powerful and has the patio cleaning attachment that the Aldi one lacks.

It's 30 bar less powerful than the Homebase one. Hope this helps.

Aldi used to do a cracking power washer which had an on board detergent tank. I borrowed my dad's and was really impressed so bought myself a nilfisk. It didn't have the onboard detergent tank but being a nilfisk it's going to be better right. Wrong. It's rubbish. It's the 110 bar model but crap in comparison to the unbranded Aldi one from about 5 years ago. The nilfisk will soon be ditched for one that actually has power. The nilfisk is about half the weight so possibly has. Plastic pump.

The rain does a good enough job.
