I'd sooner pay double and buy better quality,I ended up buying again as the fit of the clothes were not true to size

No. 1) it's not mid May, it's almost mid June. 2) these don't go on sale until July.

Bought this last year, shirts so thin you can see through them. Uniform barely lasted till the first 1/2 term and replaced with much better quality.

I never knew that they didn't. I don't actually need trousers this time (bought the wrong size to begin with last September and they will fit him in September) but I'll bare that in mind for the future

sainsburys trousers have lasted my reception aged boy all year. I only bought 2 pairs as well so you can imagine the battering they took!
can't comment on polo shirts...i had to buy new every half term almost coz he either grew or got pen etc on them that didn't come out

I agree Sainsbury's have been fab definitely recommend my son had 2 pairs and only last week one of the knees gave in so I have a Aldi pair for back up however they don't have the adjustable waist and my sons very tall and slim but polos are good

Talking to EE is like talking to the wall. Customer service ppl are joke. Way to go and going above and beyond BrE NRe.

What are the trousers made of? I find it hard avoiding Teflon coated trousers.....

To be honest last year I bought m&s trousers for 4 boys aged 12, 10, 8 and 6 at a much higher cost and ended up having to repair seams on them all. My aldi 'back-ups' have been so much better, durability wise

I found the boys trouser bobbled within a couple of wears much prefer sainsburys for boy trousers esp when on promotion. Aldi polo's are ok if you buy a size bigger. Good value if your on a budget. Heat added
