Although not a 'reduced price' deal it is a cracking deal. Bought 4 bottles this week. Drink Ice cold out of the fridge - sit back and relax. I drink quite a bit of wine, normally red, but this wine is superb. and 13% alcohol.
The Exquisite Collection Côtes De Provence 2016 won a silver medal at the recent International Wine Challenge, the 'Oscars' of the wine trade which describes itself as "the world's finest and most meticulously judged wine competition."
Normally wines gets awards for a certain year, like best wine of 2017. So I read the title as:
Voted one of the best Wine's in the World for 599. So I asked 599BC or AD.
Unlike this wine, my joke won't be winning any awards :laughing:

For £5.99 I'm sure this is delicious, and will almost certainly buy a case,but,one of the best wines in the world ? I don't think so.

My 'goto' is the barefoot moscato, fantastic stuff (and also won awards) and available in any supermarket.

A saw a while back on some TV show, that they hand out these wine awards like confetti and they don't actually mean much. Not saying it's a bad wine, but every wine seems to have won some award these days :man:

I tried this a few weeks ago and have to say I was very underwhelmed. Honestly don't bother :disappointed:
