Same price at Currys and Argos. January reviews suggest RRP was $199, so not really seeing this as a "deal" :-/

Says £199.99 at Argos and you're right about Currys, unless I'm somehow not seeing it at Argos.
But buying at Amazon is always a positive anyway, much better company than the other two.

I bought this monitor a few days ago and had to return it right away. It was 190 when I got it but it was bright than the sun! It's still I good deal though at this price I think but just be careful using it for extended periods of time.

What do you mean by "was bright than the sun!" ?
Have you tried reducing brightness by any chance ?:smile:

I did aha I actually have this monitor but the 60hz version and this one is so bright. Even on lowest brightness it was bright and kind of hurt my head a bit!

I have this monitor excellent for the price 144hz makes all the difference

I have this along side a fancier 1440p dell monitor. In comparison it looks kind of weak, but by itself it was actually quite good for the the price. But as others said it is 100% essential to mess around with the settings as it is insanely bright out of the box. I got it from currys for £200 a few months ago and don’t regret it
