good price for a retro monitor, when I look at 1080p it reminds me of the good old days and being able to leave the door unlocked, you know you could catch a bus back then without taking out a bank loan!

Ye I'm getting fed up of all this anti 1080p chatter these days, I'm not saying that this fella is Anti 1080p because he classed it as retro but I suspect they're one of these people who now state that it's 2k/4k or nothing... The type of people that think all Chromecast deals are crap because a Chromecast Ultra is the only way forward etc... There's plenty of life left in 1080p yet! I'm rocking a GTX1070 and a 27" Acer 1080p screen, everything looks great and it means I get proper good FPS rather than a stuttering 2k resolution @ ultra...

Be wary of refurbished monitors, might just be returned panels that have backlight bleed and/or dead pixels. That's how retailers clear their returned stock, i.e. sell to the naive who have no clue about these monitor defects.

1, I was just having a joke.
2, 1080p is still current, I wouldn't contest this.
3, someone needs to find cheap chill pills and post them on HUKD as they would achieve meltdown levels of heat.
