These are great if you have a big tiling job as they make easy work of a thankless task
You can even sell them on for a tenner after you finished using them

Same here, got the Screwfix one and did kitchen/diner and bathroom.
It may be due to the basic cutting disc that it comes with, but the cut edges will chip a little bit. If they're going to be visible (e.g. coloured tiles on external corners or edges) then an abrasive block like this will tidy it up easily and quickly.
It works fine for large format tiles, both porcelain and ceramic.

I've seen people use these in their house, silica dust everywhere. can you wet these down because that dust is very dangerous.

What do you mean when you say 'wet'. Do you mean stream of water during the cut?

they obviously didn't put water in the reservoir.

They must be idiots if they didn't use water.

It cut a large area of 600x600mm porcelain 9mm thick tiles including awkward cut outs without any problems .Cuts were nice and clean with no chips .Can't think of any tiles it won't do to be honest .I would go off owners reviews rather than presuming its no good.Just keep reservoir full to cool blade and keep dust down.

I didn't mean to be superior, you only know what you know. I've not seen one of these up close and didn't know I had a water reservoir which is a great idea.

Just like a fuel tank in a car is a great idea.

This is great. Used the Screwfix one which cost me 35 quid. Used for large thick floor tiles and small wall tiles. Well worth the money in time saved. But did cutting outside in summer because it likes to spray water.
Bargain and no brainer at 30 squid if you have any amount of tiling to do.
