Never had an issue when contacting them. Very helpful, and sorted in minutes, rather than the hours and multiple calls you get with other providers.

It'll only affect a few people, I guess, but it's worth pointing out this bit in the T&Cs.

They go through the EE network, I think - I don't know whether that's good or bad, to be fair.

Last plusnet deal on here was great too, but having had my card "declined" 5 times, I gave up. Only to find they had taken the payment from me 5 times. Took weeks to get the money back too, they said it was impossible for them to have taken the payment when the system said declined. Stay clear if you don't like unnecessary hassle

Will this work in a EE locked iphone 5c? Thanks.

My wifes Plusnet sim works fine in an EE locked iphone 6s so I can't see you having any problems.
Also if you got your iphone on contract and it's now expired EE will unlock it for free this also applies if you bought it of them on payg and have proof of purchase which we don't have because it was bought second hand.

they are great with internet. I got a sim then found out it was a reused number and I kept getting calls for someone else, raised issue with them and they said it be 15 quid to change number, after I moaned they said they would do it for free. four days later after having a variety of calls for someone else, I called them back and they said they now couldn't change my number after all and would not supply another SIM card. told me to call back in a few weeks! I swiftly ended contract and went to tesco mobile SIM only. they still send me emails each month telling me I am owe them nothing!

Dam went for the slightly larger id mobile deal but would have prefered plusnet as it uses EE which has way better signal and speeds.

Indeed, they piggyback off Three though (instead of EE with Plusnet). Probably not an issue but EE supposedly have better coverage

I wanted more data, so using online chat Plusnet price matched iD Mobile's 1.5GB data, 250 mins and unlimited texts for £5 a month. I set a price cap of £2 to avoid any unexpected high bills.

I'm having problems since switching to be honest. Totally my own fault though. I was with EE for ages i had a few problems but knew no better as I'd been with them for years. Moved to giff gaff (O2) and was a great reception. Now with plusnet (EE) back to problems. I thought EE had nearly 100% coverage

EE has the largest 3G and 4G networks in the UK. No network offers 100% geographical coverage, however.
You could be just very unlucky and be in an area where O2 and/or Vodafone happen to have better reception than EE.

I have had one of these accounts for my daughter for a while now poss almost a year. Fantastic customer service. Far better than the big suppliers EE etc... nothing too much trouble new sims sent out change of plan any thing no bother with polite responder. Works on EE network so no network issues at all. Great tariff for kids with first mobiles or people who only need texting calling. I would defo recommend

When your account is working correctly its fine....but i have to agree with the comments regarding their terrible customer services. Me...i asked to change tarriff...it didn't work. Didn't work a 2nd time they put it through and by that time i have to wait another month. If its not correct this month i'll be jumping ship no matter how cheap their tariffs are.

I got this deal a couple of months ago for both my wife and I, switched from O2. Wish I hadn't now as the signal coverage for my area is non-existent and I'm constantly getting "no service". With O2 it was almost full signal all the time. I live in Kent and have found the signal all over the county to be much worse than O2, so if you live in kent you should avoid. No point in having a decent amount of minutes and data if you never have the signal to use them!
The Plusnet signal strength checker came back as being "good" for both 4G and 3G in my area too!

Tesco mobile and Giffgaff (both work off 02 network) have consistently topped the customer service surveys for at least the past 5 or 7 years. Recently Asda mobile has got great reviews as well

This deal to me looks like the life mobile deals going about a while ago.
If I remember right turned out that EE wasn't giving life mobile the same quality of voice calling as the full customers were getting. My phone showed 4/5bar and time after time calls dropped or just wouldn't connect.
So I wouldn't be jumping on a deal like this again will stick to main suppliers. That's my advise anyways for what's its worth.

I've been using them for a few months now, their fb customer service is amazing, they sorted something out for me at midnight within a couple of minutes of msging them on facebook but one issue I have is when any bank from lloyds banking group ring me for verification my phone sends it to voicemail so I cant do any transfers or set up banking apps :/ has anybody else had this issue? They cant help because I dont know the number which they use and the banks wont give it to me.

Sorry to hijack this one.
My contract is coming to an end soon. I currently have unlimited mins, text and 4GB Data on Three.
I could go down to 1000mins 100 texts but I'd like a bit more data... maybe 5GB.
Can anyone recommend a good deal, please? Plusnet is doing a deal for £15 per month and and Tesco has an option for £13.50. Are those as good as it gets?
Ideally, I'd also like "3like home" EU roaming.
Thanks in advance.

EE use higher frequencies than 02/Vodafone for 2G/3G and 4G.
This has more capacity but less distance & inferior indoor coverage.
