It's a limited time offer, just use the code SUMMER01 when signing up
There's a link to the website for more information about English Heritage, but depending on what properties are nearby I strongly recommend jointing

£54 for family with NZ Heritage which gives you access to National trust and Heritage. Before any spouts on about where the money goes. The venue still gets paid for the visit by NZ Heritage the same as if you were a National trust visitor or a Heritage UK visitor
Good price if you'll use the membership, if only going a couple of times a year there are better options for your wallet.

The 3 months free with English Heritage doesn't work when using other offers. Not sure how other people use these kind of memberships, but we switch between English Heritage, National Trust, etc. The thing about 3 months free is that you can buy around May/June/July of the first year knowing that it will wrap into the next year for the prime months.
For those that use the membership all year round then the 20% off is good, but for us 3 months free is better.

Sounds a good price, but this nonetheless a good deal as anyone can join and all the money goes into protecting our crumbly buildings
