Medium butt. I have seen bugger butts. Bigger butts can be better but it is personal preference. Missus said she wanted a bigger butt but I ruled that out. I said I can't find a deal for you on a bigger butt on hukd. So I bought her this medium butt instead.
She said that wasn't what she meant. I'm confused.

I ru it through a muslin and use it in a steam generator and steam mop, anything that prefers soft water. Also use the water as a final rinse after you wash the car, no streaks

or brewing beer.

And washing your car. Use for the final rinse and you get no smears or streaks. No need to dry it off.

No this is used for retaining water. Then some other tool like water can or attached hose will water plants.

Amazon and B&Q are selling 210L butts for £25 which is a much better offer
100L doesnt last long
I've got this, perfect for a smaller space, doesn't leak and 100L is plenty my 2 patches (1m*3m)

I setup one of these for a friend who needed to collect rainwater off their shed. It is a small garden so the size was ideal. The base came in three parts that were fitted together rather than the one piece I am used to. So I would say make sure the ground is flat where you are positioning it. Tap and lid fitted fine. It replaced a similar one they had had for 10 years which had not leaked but the plastic had faded badly in the sun.

depends how you define better offer I guess, just grabbed some figures online from 2015 - 1L water costs - £0.0019184 per litre, so each time this 100L is full you save 20p so needs to be full and emptied 100 times, even in England this won't fill with rain water more than once a week in winter (when you dont need the water anyway) ....you get the idea... pay back takes years.... on the ecological side of things I really don't know but dont forget this is made from plastic that oil needs to come from somewhere then getting it to the shops etc (I can't see that it says recycled but even that uses energy etc) - just worth thinking about that's all.
...and yes on ecological grounds the 210L makes more sense - less plastic per litre etc.

Check with your local councils first, I picked up a 200l one direct from them for about 15

Trouble with these is you need rain to fill them. We've had no proper rain here for months, so it becomes a rather unattractive garden ornament. And with the recent hot weather, it would have been useful.

I can say that during my holiday in Somerset 2 weeks ago there was enough ran to fill this 20 times over :disappointed:

I like big butts and I cannot lie.
We have one which filled up over Winter and is still going despite it not raining here for some time.

I think you'd be surprised how fast these fill up with a downpour, providing your collecting the water effectively. I have a 100ltr and it runs out within a couple of days (I have a lot of pot plans) so ordered the 210ltr and plan to use the 100 as a back up

You simply can't make a blanket statement like that. It depends how much roof area the downpipe is draining.

This size is £19.99 basically everywhere (e.g. The Range), so not that much of a bargain
