I swear blind this section was not in when I posted deal, but I did post the second the email hit my inbox. Fair dos, to those who pointed it out, and I wouldn't have it-it is a minimum £30 spend, but hey, that's a 1/3 discount

I went to Jamie's American diner in London and paid £18 for what they called on the menu the insanity burger!!! As I was starving I ordered this and found out I had to order fries as an extra so I did and I'm there waiting for a big insanity burger to come over to my table...what a disappointment I would have been better going to mac ds the only insanity in it was that you would have to be insane to pay £18 for a burger that was tiny to say the least!!!! Never going there again....

I've apologised and corrected the thread. It wasn't there when I posted. I checked and re checked.

Slightly off topic but I downloaded the gold club app the other week and made use of the 10 pound sign-up bonus. Worst decision.. By using the voucher I ended up paying 8 pounds more as the voucher invalidated the set menu offer I ordered.. No tip left of course, any decent waiter would be kind enough to advise it cannot be combined and you end up paying more than without the voucher!!

As you say 'any decent waiter'. Not many of them around now especially I find in these trendy places pushing over priced food and drinks. They are chains running with over worked staff using 'deal vouchers' to lure us in. I would imagine Jamie et al would never visit their branded sites and definitely never eat in them

That's strange... I've only been the once to Jamie's. That was in newcastle. 3 of us had the £5 pasta each. The waitress offered us the £10 off, telling me that as our bill was £20 ( with drinks), we may as well spend the other tenner, getting desserts, as they'd effectively be free. The £5 pasta was an offer though, wasn't it? So, not sure of how that works? Do you think they were being awkward with you? Or could it be that what you ordered is one of those where a reduction comes off on the receipt? As the £5 pasta, was always the £5 pasta? Lol, I'm just ruminating

Read the terms and conditions and all becomes clear. It is a minimum £30 spend on this offer.

That refers to the £10 off when you join Jamie's gold club, which is a one-off deal. That is a different offer, and those terms relate to joining Gold club. Note it says THE £10 off to be used in the first 28

Yes, I agree. The Gunwharf Quays site in Portsmouth was abysmal when I was last there. They blamed it on a trainee waitress but, she didn't cook the meal, did she? Anyway, I complained and got our two meals free.

His branded sandwiches and snacks always ended up in the reduced section in my local Boots, and they still couldn't sell it at 50p. I don't think they even bother stocking his branded stuff now.

That refers to the one-off £10 off when you sign up. Not this offer, I'm sure
This is not a one off either, you can use it every time you eat there during June.

Perfectly possible- but, would you really? They've messed up by not doing a minimum spend, but they might close the loophole if too many peeps take advantage. I'm cheeky, but not sure I could go that far, lol

This IS NOT related to the £10 off a £30 spend from signing up. The title has been altered! I have already used that original one-off, £10 off. This is an entirely different offer. Also, this is a deal/ discount, open to members of Jamie's gold club, and NOT a voucher.
