Well EVGA warranties are transferable anyway and yeah you can of course return to Amazon for any reason so you're pretty much covered there. The problem that could potentially arise however is that when it comes down to RMA'ing a card to the manufacturer is the first time an invoice will actually get reviewed by a real person as the system for registering a card is automated (it merely saves a pdf of your invoice on their system linked to your account). If a company feels like it, they can refuse to honour a warranty for a Warehouse item because it's not new and you are technically not the first owner (even if the first owner didn't register it or keep it or even open it) technicalities won't always be overlooked

Though as with ANY Pascal card, buying a pre-OCed card for significant mark-up simply isn't worthwhile. Numerous sites have issued the same advice, a lower end custom cooled card usually puts you within a few frames of something premium.

It was the same for the EVGA 1070 I ordered at the same time, unregistered. You can order a card with no worry in any case, check the warranty and return if it's not to your liking.

There is 2 versions of ti 1080ti Extreme Amp. I doubt it was the one I was referring to and SLI is what it is. Sometimes it works with games and sometimes it doesn't work so well. Most recent games work just fine with it. Although nvidia are a joke trying to hawk you this new super duper 'high bandwidth' SLI bridge when the real world performance over the normal bridge is negligible.

That's a very good deal indeed. Considering you could almost SLI 2 of these for the same cost as a single Zotac AMP! Extreme Edition 1080ti (£830). Assuming you have a decent monitor that wont make either option a waste of money that is.

Correct Amazon Warehouse is 30days return & 12mths warranty but your two statements contradict each other; Why is yours full warranty from warehouse and not 12mths? Was it not registered by the original owner and you have successfully registered it with Zotac by uploading your invoice to their site?

Amazon Warehouse is always 12 months warranty, 30 days to return if you decide you don't like it.

In my case, Amazon will deal with Zotac for first 24 months and it's then with Zotac for a further 3 years.

Worst case, Amazon refund as they don't replace.

Not true. They refunded on an RX 480, that started showing artifacts, after about nine months.
