got a new oem fe on eBay for 590 which I'm very pleased with and I think the fe will generally settle towards 600, will be the release of vega that will be needed tho.

The price you pay to Amazon is the price you pay all in, it's not coming from China or the U.S.A it's coming from inside the EU, and VAT is charged at the point of purchase, and no duty or import charges.

I know I got a like new gtx 1070 for 279 quid via warehouse.Well happy- I notice stock numbers go up and down so, as you say, keep an eye out for a bargain.
It's long gone, I ordered last week... always check the DE and IT sites prices move around

£779 in U.K. It was I got annoyed when it said 2-4 weeks delivery and zotac has rarely been in stock, I got my galaxy s8 from Italy £575 I think it was...try the foreign warehouses for gpu'S cud get lucky

Drop an i7 2600K in place of your 2500K to save upgrading your whole platform, overclock the nuts off it and you should be good for a while. :smiley:

If you want the 'best' out of games, yes.
If you want really good out of games, no.
I'd actually recommend holding off on upgrading CPU until the next round of Ryzen/Intel. There should be pressure on intel to release some really solid chips, and Ryzen will mature.

I paid £730 on Sunday at Scan for the gaming X. It went up to 753 on Monday, I'd rather pay extra and buy from a uk seller than buy from abroad.
It's easy to return things in the UK. Also if you buy in Europe you don't get the same legal protection you do in the Uk. Then CRA s a strong piece of law and gives powerful consumer rights. Buying abroad brings many issues. It's fine for a few quid but not for this amount.
By the way. The gaming X is a stunning card.

You could of course just fill in the Zotac Warranty form when you get your card, which gives you 5 years, and if you have a problem, cut the retailer out entirely. Also if it's faulty from new etc. Amazon refund the postage, even if you have to ship it to them in another country.
I've never had any bigger issues than dealing with retailers in the U.K. and I've lost count of the number of items I've bought, whether it be computer components, camera lenses, or inflatable sheep. :smile:

I think it would be silly to get a gpu right now unless it was £500 for a ti as vega should hopefully be out soon and that could have a big impact on pricing if any good. Worth waiting a little while just to see

I was looking at the Palit 1080ti, I am unable to buy it just yet, got about £500 saved up in amazon vouchers but they gone up in price now. :disappointed: Should I wait, what brands are good now? I lost faith in Sapphire as two cards failed, 1 x Radion 390 and I had 2 480's failed, 1 had a noisy fan on full load, first time it refunded. Second 480 failed mid game, system would not even see it, sent back to ocuk and they sent is back to Sapphire, took I think about month to nearly two months. :disappointed: Anyone seen a rough prediction on price drops?
