Yesterday they were on the app so i brought them from waitrose and by the time i got home they had been removed from the app. I sent them an email and they said that even though items have been removed you can still claim them. All you need to do is click on the red claim button, click on where you shopped and the ice cream will be there. It works for the last 7 days. So all is not lost if they vanish from the app.
I hope this helps someone.

BTW, did anyone manage to find that cider freebie in any One Stop shops?
I tried two different shops on the way home and neither stocked it!
Luckily, I didn't go out of my way too much.

I found it in 2 shops yesterday but 500ml not 750ml as stated. Amended to 500ml today and the store I popped into on way to a larger sainsburys didn't have it - sods law!

As long as the time shown on your receipt is before when CheckoutSmart ended the offer, they should reward it. If it's a little after, they might anyway, what with them being very very nice people and all.

Great offer, but £4 per 500ml tub? I get pints of beer cheaper than that!

There were loads at my Sainsbury's in Redditch. I got mine, was stuck n traffic on the way home and had completely defrosted by the time I got home. I gather that a £4 tub of ice cream ruined if it was free! :disappointed:

Lucky escape... Or not. Checked the app. Ice cream was showing. Popped into Sainsbobs 15 mins later. Item was stocked. Woohoo!! Checked app again. Ice cream gone. At £4 each I'm glad I spotted it before I'd actually paid over the dosh! Shame no ice cream for me though. Hey ho. You win some ....

Good point, depends what it says on the receipt I suppose. I know that with Tesco, sometimes the receipt text is very generic, e.g. "BEER" so that might work. (Can someone post a pic of their Waitrose/Sainsburys receipt for this?)
