Some of the staff at Yankee's Bristol dept call the supermarket candles the inferior range.

It's a budget Yankee candle, made especially for supermarkets, B&Q, Matalan etc. They don't put as much fragrance in these, which is why they are cheap. If an item is cheap there is a reason for this.
Yankee's plates & shades don't fit these candles, Yankee do this on purpose.
Trust me - I know what I am talking about, I have an account with Yankee.

It's is not correct.
The Home Inspiration range (was simply Home) use the same wax, wicks and fragrance oil ratio as all Yankee candle house warmer jars. The only difference is the complexity of the fragrances on offer. The Home Inspiraton range are made up of simpler fragrances with less notes and complexity to the fragrances or are older or more popular fragrances that have been rebranded for use in the Home inspiration Range.
The rubbish that you say about these being inferior or using less fragrance oil is not correct at all and is nothing more more than your assumption.
They are a simpler fragrance but can throw just as strong as a jar from the standard range as the fragrance oil ratio is exactly the same in both.
I'll let you into another lesser known fact. All the Home Inspiration wax be it candle, wax melts or Votve samplers come from the new EU Manufacturing plant in Poland and currently seem have a better consistency for fragrance throw than the ones manufactured in Deerfield USA.
If you have had issues with Home Inspirations then it's just part of what Yankee candle are. I've had candles from the normal house warmer jar range that have had no throw at all and also had simply home/home inspirations jars that have been really strong (lemon meringue and Strawberries & cream are really strong).
Take it from someone who has bought, burned and melted Yankee candles for year & knows people who's work within the company itself, what you said is not true at all and I've given you what is my honest opinion and the offical stance of Yankee candle on these products.
Also the new Home inspiration jars are more compatible with a lot of Yankee candle accessories as the new jars are more closer to the house warmer in size, shape and lid dimensions.
