Those who market the product would like you to think that. They calculate that however poor it is, the number of people who bother to return it will be far outweighed by extra sales. Don't be duped.

HDR isn't a higher data rate though, is it, so it shouldn't make any difference.

Bought two last night, arrived this morning. Nice quality braided cable and seem well made. Thanks OP.

Those arguing that it'll cost you £3 to send back..just buy a lead for £20 then you Won't feel bad spending £3 on p&p when returning it!!!

1.4b will but can't find evidence for which one it is so assume 1.4a

I bought a number of different lengths in the AmazonBasics range.
For 4k HDR, anything 3m or below is superb. 5m, and I get black outs every now and again. 7m and above simply can't carry a 4K signal, never mind HDR.
Tested on a PS4 Pro and a Samsung 4K HDR Blu Ray. With a Samsung KS8000 TV.

Like other people here, I just ordered an Amazon Basics HDMI 2.0 3m cable - more expensive than this (5.49), but I notice this Xenta cable is only HDMI 1.4 (Wikipedia claims that can't do 4K video at 60fps...).
I also spent a "fortune" on a VESA certified DisplayPort cable - the two cables come to 20.01 quid so I got free postage at least. Having trouble getting 4K on a 28" Samsung 4k monitor with a GTX 1050 Ti with any of my existing HDMI/Displayport cables, so hopefully new cables will do the trick.

I have two of these and neither work with my Xbox one S and tv in 4k HDCP 2.2. Swapped to Amazon basics cables and it works fine....

Xenta products are awful in my experience, bought a few things including usb charging cables and all have failed within a short time.
Hope others have better luck than me but Xenta have had there last penny out of me.

It is a HDMI cable. It is 3 quid. Sod lifetime warranties and "don't buy this is your using it in your super expensive 4k QLED TV" - it's a cheap HDMI that is great to use if you need one. If it breaks in a few months, throw it in the bin. Why there is a discussion about these things I don't know.

I've bought quite a few supposedly 4k HDMI cables recently and all of them gave me problems. Went back to my cheap ones and all okay.

Told them the product and asked if I had to pay for returns within the lifetime warranty period.

Oh right well I did buy it from Ebuyer but did they say what time-frame? They could just be referring to their standard 14-day return policy?

I asked the question re. return of the item within the lifetime warranty on ebuyer chat. They said if its faulty then its free returns.

Unfortunately yeah it failed after several months, having paid by PayPal it was outside of 180 day window to file a claim. Only £3 so no big deal, just find them advertising a 'Lifetime warranty' on something that costs more than it's value to return is a bit disingenuous

They feel really nice quality and I like the flat design but one of these is the only HDMI cable that's ever failed on me as far as I can remember. The Lifetime warranty is kinda pointless when it would cost more than it's worth to send it off for repair/replacement.
Admittedly I may have just been unlucky as the reviews seem to be okay but I'll steer clear
Just a quick note - these wouldn't give me a 60Hz refresh at 4K on 4:4:2:2 where an Amazon's basic cable had no problem.

Thanks op bought 2. Reviews seem good. Not bought anything from Ebuyer for ages though since their customer service went down hill and not usually not very competitive prices. Should go wrong with cables
