I went in to my nearest GAME, and they barely had any new Wii U/3DS games, most of their stock was used. I didn't find any 99p games, but there was a non-original box Far Cry 4 used for £2.99 with 25% off.
I took it to the til, and after looking at the price on the til confused, the cashier talked with the other floor staff guy ("that price can't be right"), he went into the back to talk to the manager and when he came out apparently they "couldn't find the disc" and told me they might have a boxed version but I wouldn't get it for the same price. The guy on the til apologized and told me the price would probably be £12.99, and I told him to forget it then. It's a joke that store, I've had more issues than successful purchases there.

Why? Because pretending you are big boy soldiers running around shooting people is better than pretending your a platforming Italian plumber? Admittedly Nintendo isn't quite what it once was in terms of Game development (although Breath of the wild is incredible) but everyone like different things and all gaming is essentially "playing with sand at the side of the road" as my friend once put it..... Fun though!

If i didn't have a Wii U I'd probably still buy it for fun. Just seeing that £49.99 to 99p sticker.

Store checker on their website just shows price as £0.00 for new. I expect this is going to be mega-limited, since Game usually send these priced-games back to head office.

Ah this brings back memories of finding a mint GBA version of Shining Force 1 in a "bargain basket" at GAME Taunton for 99p in like 2006.... My mate said my face changed and I literally pushed passed him and ran to the till to buy it! I sold it a couple years back on eBay for like £40!

As if the staff wouldn't snap these up and flip them on eBay. Retailers do this stuff cos they know it'll get posted on here, and they know you'll then head in to game anyway. I never bother looking for deals like this
