Great deal but still burnt after getting a couple with noisy grinding fans a few months back. Suffice to say they were both returned. Was a known issue. I wonder if they resolved it.

ah well ha! was just looking at the Xbox 360 sale thread but I have most of the ones I've heard of for streaming pc anyways. best getting stuff like that on pc so you'll always have them, I bet they won't be backwards compatible on the next Xbox

next upgrade for me is scorpio.. can shift my ps4 and xbox elite at the same time then and settle on 1 console.

I bought one but had the buzzing fan which was annoying as hell. Look on You Tube to see him many other have the problem. Swapped it for a much quieter PS4 slim.

Hardly a upgrade its way way faster than the Xbox One, its twice the power of the PS4 Pro it will play all games at native 4K. You have to ask how they can possibly better the Scorpio i cant see what can be upgraded until 8K takes over and we are talking years. The PS4 Pro is amazing so what will the Scorpio be like.I have a PS4 Pro and my original Xbox one and i see no reason to upgrade the Xbox, it cost me £450 at launch and all the S does is HDR and i can wait.

lol... it wont do 4k native games.. the processor is EXACTLY the same as the old one, just over clocked. They will be adding more ram tho and a better graphics card. But its still not pc card lwvel for 4k gaming. And the ps4 does hdr as well.

the grapics card is supposed to be a 1070 equivalent. Which in itself barely does low speed 4k gaming. And thats when using a good processor

It seems it's a bearing issue on the fan. I wasn't willing to go through 3 consoles to get a quiet one. I wonder if they put the noisier consoles in a game bundle hoping to get shut of them. That's my theory or maybe I'm just paranoid. :confused:

You don't know that for a fact.

For starters, by giving it a decent CPU instead of the awful AMD Jaguar that it's to feature which was largely responsible for why so many PS4, Xbone and PS4 Pro games run so poorly.

How about everything? Scorpio won't be running all games at locked 60fps in native 4K with all the bells and whistles set to 'ultra'. Scorpio is broadly equivalent to an upper mid-range gaming PC right now and by the time it launches late this year it'll be a little further behind the curve.

PS4 Pro really isn't "amazing" for a whole host of different reasons but if you're happy with it then good for you. Scorpio will be more of the same only better albeit it obviously won't feature all those Sony exclusives and nearly all of its Microsoft Studios games will also be on PC where they'll look and run better.

are the games physical copies or download codes? thinking of buying an Xbox one s but don't really like Halo wars & Fifa is available on EA Access so would sell both.

Also can 3D Blu-ray be played via this?

Graphics ar egood and ps4 is fine. Probably a nicer GUI/UI aswell, this is horrible, cant find anything. Gone are the simple xbox360 days
