I paid £219.99 for my slate grey Xbox One S around 6 months ago (which incidentally is having its controller sent back to Microsoft this week because it's knackered).

I'll get my OG Xbox One on eBay with the sealed copy of Halo 5, Ryse (no longer have the need for the physical version after it was on games with gold) and FIFA 16.

Makes the upgrade worth it and good value considering I have not got Forza, Halo Wars 2, FIFA 17 or Gears.

Looks a better deal than either Tesco or Argos deals. Both websites not working properly for me atm for some reason.

Good deal but buying from game is horrible so I'd get it online.. takes 10 minutes of them trying to sell you extended warranties and extras then trying to get you to sign up for a loyalty card.. I felt like I was buying a used car last time.

I paid £250 very recently for grey with bf1 - alot more than white but I wanted it alot more than white - I am keeping it sealed until E3 and if they annouce black one s - it's going up for sale. (paid for with credit in case you are wondering why I would buy only to not open and then sell, had hundreds in credit and thought Game may go bust before I decided on something to buy)

It's not just your local, Game has stopped price matching altogether however they have adjusted their prices and so, just like it always was, it is worth checking Games trade in price as they may be better tha CEX etc without the need to price match...

I always opt for Gumtree and cash in hand.. that way you can use the code yourself then sell the bit of cardboard with the pretty pictures on - scam them before they scam you!

Yep, the same exact thing happened to me when I sold the Fifa code. Got scammed and I ended up paying the bloody charge back fee so lost the Fifa game AND was out of pocket by £40 for the charge back.

Won't be long. I can see the £209 deal still running so it's a matter of the games I guess.

It's probably worth pointing out here that Minecraft is a lot better on PC (the java version not the one on the windows 10 store), although a laptop to run it well would cost more than £200. There's no mods for the console version and the world is smaller.

It depends on the store. My local had this + the £209 deal (very similar, just different games) - their advertising for it was a black & white printout of the advert from the website :smiley:

I personally went for the £209 deal with injustice 2 as didn't want forza/halo wars 2 but they are both great deals. Its the right time to trade in your OG Xbox one now before the prices drop even further.

It wasn't when I checked in the York store yesterday. The staff very helpfully tried ringing everything through the till to see if it came up as a deal but no dice.

Hey you can either for this bundle or this trade in the unwanted games. You can buy a minecraft and extra controller separately. If I were you I would do so.

I am a complete novice to gaming. My daughters 10th birthday is coming up and she is hoping for xbox one minecraft. Looks to me I would be better off buying one of these bundles and then adding on Minecraft game separately. Thinking of the Fifa 17 bundle with extra controller and minecraft added on comes to £237.98. Am I doing the right thing here, seems a really good deal???

a word of advice if selling digital codes on eBay. Always post it instead of emailing, that way you are covered by the charge back scam, as you have proof of delivery. I sold a fifa 17 code when the Xbox s first came out for £40. Then 60 days later out of blue I get a charge back email saying that the purchase was made without account holders knowledge, bloody scamners

Depends how you look at it, Dex. There's £80 in value for the games here. £60-70 if you push them on. Pop an OG Xbox One on Gumtree or such for £100 and you've made back £160 minumum towards the upgrade. £60 is a good price to pay in my opinion, if not for the 4K Blu Ray player alone. I have the S and a 4K TV and games such as GoW4, FH3 and TESO look great upscaled with HDR10.

After all, the Scorpio is expected to retail in at around £400. It depends what you want in the end :smiley:
