I like the challenge of a non alphabeticalized list :smile: don't think I shall be bothering - not that much of interest that I don't already have

I must admit a lot of games on that list don't interest me or I already own. Not enough to justify me paying yearly for it on top of my gold. I'll give the Bioshock games a bash though in the trial :smiley:

I haven't played all the way through them - despite owing them :smile: trueachievements estimates around 15-20 hours each I think

Not much there that interests me tbh, perhaps Mad Max, I've either got, already played or not really interested in the vast majority.

Too much else on at the moment to start a 14 day trial to whizz through Mad Max, but it looks like the trial can be activated at any time, so probably even worth waiting for a while until they add some more decent titles.

Is the list going to be expanded on a ongoing basis? I would expect them to keep adding to the list but until there's a few better games on there won't bother OR we can get hold of a yearly sub with /without Gold included at a decent price then might have considered it.

To be honest my compulsive personality of buying bargains means that this list is really not that impressive, if you have just bought an xbox I can see this being very appealing..

but in xbox sales and on HUKD - £96 a year goes quite a long way.....

I managed it with the remasters not so long ago, but I had played through them a few times when they originally released. One of my favourite series.

Can you download any of the games before activating the free trial?

I need to stop buying games in order to take advantage of these moments! the ones in the list I already have and the others not interested.

When I click on "Start your 14 day free trial" it takes me to a page where there is only the option for a 5 Day Pass, and it says that its not available anyway.

I have a gold sub, any ideas whats going on?

When I first looked at the list of games I thought I had accidently clicked on the recent backwards compatible sale.
There are a few xbox one games when I look a little more closely.

Good they are doing this but I suspect it'll be one of the less popular initiatives. GwG cheaper and allows you to play the games whenever with no risk of them disappearing. I suppose if you are a new owner a couple of months of this would tide you over, or if you have way too much time on your hands for gaming then it might be useful.

That's a poor list for the price.

Sega games like Golden Axe and Streets of Rage will be worth a play through on the trial. Might try the Sam and Max games, as I held off getting them on the recent BC sale. Otherwise... Nothing really screams "must have"...

There's quite a lot of 360 games in there, makes me wonder if the quality of 360 GWG games will start to drop, also they could have done £4.99 with gold and £7.99 without gold, attracting gold members to a more reasonable price and attracting in silver members who would be interested in Xbox game pass at the same time

This appears to be a monthly subscription so £7.99 to dip in & out seems reasonable to me! Will probably give Halo 5 Campaign a go during the trial as I'm useless at MP :confused:

Better games on EA Access....

Looking at it last night, seems that you can't share the subscription like you can with Xbox Live Gold.
With Gold, my son has an account and I get access to all the benefits on my account as his account is registered against my console as the "Home" console. He can then use his console in his bedroom with all the Live Gold access as well.
We activated the trial on his account yesterday (he found 4 games to play out of the lot) but when I went to my console, I have to sign up separately.
If that's the case, this scheme is not going to be particularly successful in families.

Can we buy the subs from other regions for cheaper ?

I guess this'd be a good deal for people who like to play a lot of different games, and play intensely. I only play one or two main games at a time though so it'd be wasted on me, plus I'd feel pressure to complete a game before the subscription renews.

You are supposed to get a discount if you buy the games , can anyone the percentage of discount or does it vary?

Been after Defense Grid since playing the 2nd for free and loved it - its not been on sale for years so - I might active it and buy it.

love how people are complaining at this, yet your still getting 100+ games for £2 per week.. coming from someone who has most of the Xbox Library anyway, there are a few titles I got from this like DMC Definitive Edition & Screamride, and if anybody remembers back to when EA Access started.. it wasn't amazing from the beginning and it's improved a lot over time, especially with the addition of the 360 EA Titles, over time they'll add and change titles :smiley: also, I found the Games Pass is pretty useful among friends, told a couple of my friends to try the trial so we could play various co-op games like Payday 2, Fable 3, Ms Splosion Man etc

Poor list on Xbox One, not worth the money

Give a 14 year old boy a free game pass, and he plays for a fortnight. Give a 14 year old boy the unreal engine source code and he can make games for his entire life.

You sound like my Mum, who would force me to eat my tea, because the children in Africa wouldn't think twice about finishing my peas off.

It isn't a particularly good starting bunch of games for the money. Although the free trial is welcome so I have voted hot.

I have just signed up to this trial. I only plan to use this for the 14 day trial, as there are a couple of games I would like to play for that duration. Can I cancel right now and still have the 14 day trial left or should I wait until day 13 for example.
