Thanks OP. Managed to pick up Star Fox Zero and Paper Mario for £9.99 each in Edinburgh. Also picked up the Star Fox Zero & Doom collector's edition guides for £4.99 each
Waterlooville Game have the typical extortionate prices no sign of discounts! :/
Spoke to the staff and they said it was nationwide - but only for brand new stock.

has anyone had any luck getting deals online other than mario and star fox? I noticed most of the new stuff is only 3rd party sellers now... so either I missed some bargains or they pulled all the stock.

If that "tramp" didn't buy them all someone else would have...surely you know that by now? Remember it's a game store, so most of the staff are gamers themselves. Chances are they would have bought the majority anyway.. I know that happened in my local because the guy told me!

That tramp wasted my precious time, effort and fuel for what I ask you?
UberPark
31 May 17#54
From a business point i get it but the tramp could at least leave a few for others instead of making a quick buck to so that his mum can say well done son. even if there was ten there i would have taken 1 max 2 and left some for others its called being considerate! this is exactly why deals on here finish so fast (young billy buys one for himself but paul down the block buys 20 for ebay how nice? all there others are still in line)

I got Paper Mario and Star Fox brand new for the prices listed here from the Portsmouth store. Also got Wii Party U for 99p secondhand. They had Mario + Sonic but didn't say 99p. Does anyone know if it was new or secondhand at that price? Pretty sure they'd hidden all the Amiibo in the back because they claimed to have "pretty much none" left. Not sure what that means haha.

some mother f***** tramp took all the copies of star fox and paper mario from the Ilford store. i said is it not 1 per costumer they said the manager said he i.e. this tramp was a regular customer. obviously he is a tramp who lives outside game cause his dad sells Avon for a living!

When we see prices this low, it's about clearing stock rather than setting up a loss leader to bring in customers. Annoying though it is, limiting purchases to one per customer would run directly contrary to that objective.

Well I have to take back my comment from earlier because they actually had the deal in my local Coventry store!
Picked up two copies of Colour Splash for £9.99 each (1 for a friend) and Star Fox Wii U for £4.99.
The copies of Paper Mario were sealed, while the star fox disc was behind the counter on account of it "being the last one" according to the staff so does that suggest the those weren't the last two copies of Paper Mario in store? I don't know, but if you're curious, it's worth a look.
Genuinely jealous of anyone out there getting Dragon Quest VII for 99p. Wow!

Just went to Hempstead valley in Gillingham and picked up colour splash and tennis for a tenner each. They had the 9.99 sticker on them on the shelf too.
Sadly, they didn't have fed force. 99p is about how much that game is worth :P

I brought Colour Splash to the counter in Camden at 10 AM today to check price (post removing the £29.99 sticker to save embarisment). To the guy's surprise it was £9.99. He rumaged in the draw a little then came back an claimed there was only a preowned copy available but someone forgot to put the sticker on and that it would cost £37. Conman must have wanted to buy it for himself. My only consolation is the reminder that getting deals like that is the only plus to that job.
