Being a right old gimmer I was sat down with my son explaining how music was so much better in the 90's than it is nowadays. To prove a point I started playing him some James, Verve, and indie dancefloor stuff. Anyway, he liked it (good lad) so I suggested getting a few CD's for the car for us to rock out too. Off I went to Music Magpie and discovered they've got almost 3000 CD's at £1.99 and they are BOGOF with free delivery.
So, if there's some music missing from your collection (not just 90's stuff) and you fancy only paying a quid for each CD delivered then you can't grumble at this.
Some choice stuff, well, IMO, that popped out is/was:-
The Killers - Hot Fuss
Paolo Nutini - Sunny Side Up
Verve - Urban Hymns
Pulp - Different Class
Elbow - Leaders of the Free World
Snow Patrol - Eyes Open
Kasabian - Kasabian
Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace
The Strokes - Room On Fire
Paul Weller - Stanley Road
Eels - Beautiful Freak
Anyway, like I say, there's almost 3000 to choose from (offer applies to DVD's too)

these deals are great, makes you wonder why people pay 99p to download individual songs in MP3, when you can buy complete albums for similar and then rip to digital format in whatever quality you like up to FLAC.

80's was way better, plus vinyls have a much better nostalgic sound quality than Cds/mini-discs.cassettes

cant comment on the "Good" condition but I ordered two S5's a few months ago in "very good" condition and was very surprised when they arrived as they were both near mint.
Have just ordered an S6 a couple of hours ago but again in very good condition, will let you know what its like.

Your average teenager would have to have a sit down and rest just thinking about that. Laziness, that's why Apple does so well. I prefer FLAC which is why I buy and rip.

With respect, music was only awesome in the 80's,
it was almost unapologetically s hite in the early 70's, and mostly OK in the 90's
luckily each generation manages to vomit forth a few good groups, even now.

If you wonder why people pay for music and obtain music in the highest quality possible then it might be you with more money than brains, and that can't be much more than loose change.

I ordered tons of stuff from them and most of it was smashed, scratched and broken on arrival - has been a total nightmare. They have no clue how to package items - worst packaging I've ever seen in my life by a huge margin. With smaller orders you have a much better chance of your stuff arriving safely as they send it individually - for larger orders, you're totally screwed. You will be beyond shocked at how they send out large orders.

Had a similar problem when they sent out 18 CD's in one giant jiffy bag with no protection. Most of them were cracked. When one CD did not work entirely, they just sent out another used one and told me to dispose of the broken one.

That don't make sense, why would you keep ordering tons stuff when it keeps turning up smashed and broken, I would have been wary on the 1st and then a 2nd time never ordered again,

As somebody who doesn't have the ability to connect my phone to the car stereo, I decided to invest in a bunch of CDs. My genre-of-choice is hip-hop, so manage to find a lot of classic albums from the likes of Nas, Biggie and Kanye West in their 2 for £2 or 2 for £3 deals. No issues with delivery, apart from getting about 10 packages with the CDs arriving at different times.

14 May 17#35
I got one a couple of weeks ago from them, it jumped and was scratched, I emailed them and they told me to give them the order number, which I didn't have as they hadn't sent me an acknowledgement email and the jiffy bag it came in had no paperwork. Have just chucked it out. Only a couple of quid I know but I won't order from them again.
