Single player is incredible and worth it for this price alone. The level cause and effect is just genius, probably in my top 3 gaming moments.
After completing I did dip into multiplayer but couldn't get into it, prefer BF1. Might give it another try, I kept dying every 2 mins so gave up through frustration. Was hoping they would do a free weekend so I can practice with some noobs.

Just played through that level (Cause and Effect) - Yup. It's a bloody brilliant piece of design.

Awesome game! Bought it when it first came out and don't regret it.
The multiplayer is still lively too and gets regular free updates

Pretty much every weapon is good. Scorch is the weakest titan but unless you're playing a competitive match its not really going to matter which loadout you choose.

£18.99 and played about 20 minutes, barely got out of the tutorial. So not a world of difference, just annoying. Cheekily asked if they'll refund the difference. Nothing ventured nothing gained I suppose. Played the demo on ps4 and will certainly be playing it regardless.

I like how you can select exactly what game modes you want to search in without having to pick an individual playlist. The network feature is nice to, join one of the larger ones and people will join straight away if you just ping a network invite. I can see this having a small but dedicated player base, you can't really get the experience with another game.

is there still a big player base for this on PC?

There was never a big player base for this on PC . It's usually just shy of 2k players online when I drop in. It's still easy enough to find games in Attrition(possibly other game modes as well but I never play them).

(subjective but) How good is this compared to say, BF1, CSGO?

I wouldn't try and compare it because you will be disappointed. The game is enjoyable but not as good as BF1 for example

Better than BF1 - more depth and better combat. Hard to compare to CSGO because that's a pure twitch shooter whereas this has big robots and parkour...

Personally think this is the best shooter on the market right now. Easy to get into, difficult to master, having good movement is as important as having good aim. Go on youtube and search for titanfall 2 flag runs or grapple hook videos to see how crazy the mobility in this game can get. It's the cod style of gameplay taken to the max, I can't stop playing.
